I managed to grab literally the last Zumbuddy at the local small gift shop, a Bratty Zum. I was glad to at least get one and put the code in as soon as I got home. I was quickly disappointed with the Zum, as you can either feed them, give them a toy, or 'tickle' them. Tickle too much and they'll start disliking you.

Yet, I managed to get to 100% happiness and he threw a little solo-party, yet no Zummies were given. Hurray! I got to buy a lamp with the initially provided zummies. Played with the Zumbuddy again today, had another 100% party, again: no zummies!

Bottom Line: I am SO thankful that the shop was sold out. I would've bought all 6 and been sorely disappointed with these results. If you haven't gotten a Zumbuddy, don't bother unless you want to drop $10-$15 purely for a vanity pet that follows your webkinz around. You're not missing anything. Really....

I’m glad now that we can’t find them!!! Or I would of bought all 6 too!
Either they will fix this “Zummie” thing, or our’s will just stay in the store.
To spend points on food that disappears, and try to keep the finicky little things happy, for nothing
Doesn’t sound like to much fun.
We have plenty of regular pets, that are happy, eat well, and enjoyable to play with & like you!!!

That is exactly what happened to me Feralise. I decided to call Ganz back and ask more questions. It seems absurd to be able to pay for toys and food with kinz cash but you can't buy the furniture which is what costs the most. I can't imagine how to come up with that many zummies. Meanwhile, the Zumbuddies just hang around flying in their empty rooms . I never would have bought these if I'd known this was going to happen. The CS rep this time told me, "they're just the webkinz pal." I told him a pretty expensive one at that. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Enjoy your Webkinz everyone

The quickest way I found to get zummies is if you have two zums together in the same room and make them happy at the same time.

I click on each of my zums a couple of times to make them laugh, then I give them a toy or food. If you wait a few minutes and have one of the zums ask for a toy or food then you are more likely to get zummies.

If you see your zum wave a hand up and down then he or she wants a ball or yo yo. If your zum jumps up and down try a horse bouncer or uni-cycle. I have noticed that the blue and purple or the yellow and orange zums like playing the rainbow thrower together. I had 6 parties the first day and received about 14 zummies because I had all 6 of my zums happy at once. I put 5 in one room and had one in a separate room and when I have 4 of the 5 at a 100% I go to the one that is by itself and get it up to 99% then give it a toy (yo yo mainly) and then switch rooms....while it is having its party I click on each of the 5 remaining zums (4 should be already at 100 and the last at 99) when you do they have a party at the same time. I have received more zummies this way and only two parties (sometimes 4) in order to get zummies. I don't have a lot of play time with school and family, but I have noticed that this works good.

I am not saying get all six, but if you have two zums together you have a bigger chance of getting zummies.

Try to help everyone out this is what I have noticed:

Blue zum likes the rainbow thrower the best (especially if there is another zum to play with)
Yellow zum likes balloon the best
Purple zum likes green kite the best
Red zum likes the horse jumper the best
Orange zum and yellow zums like the yo yo the best

When they move their hand up and down alternate between the pink ball and the yo yo...Try to put the toy right on the zum.

When they ask for a specific toy or food you have to get it right on the zum or they miss it and still ask for it.

I was trying to figure that out, too. Maybe in your own room with the Zummies? I mean there must be something in the way that your pet interacts with them that makes them gain Zummies. What about when you visit others? Do the Zums follow you there, too?

ok...I too have all six zums, however have only entered them one at a time. I got no zummies with one no matter how many parties i had and then when i added the second, again multiple multiple parties and no zummies and when i entered the third I finally got some but only 9. I called ganz and of course they told me to add more zums (which i think is dumb, but I did). I did notice this though.... on the cardboard that the zums come attatched too it says first edition.... oh my! This only means that they are going to require more to play this time consuminig part of webkinz world. I was so excited and now very disappointed. If you don't buy 3 or more I strongly advise not being bothered with it as it is so not worth it in my opinion. Ganz if your reading this... if you are having trouble keeping us adults entertained with stuff on your site, what makes you think we will spend our money on new stuff for our kids to get bored and frustrated and have them quit playing all together? I love webkinz and get over excited and spend way too much but I am way to involved now to quit, and I am thankful for the new things that are being developed, but on the same note something that is supposed to be de stressing me is STRESSING ME OUT! LOL

I am going to hang in there and hope for the best, but i am not holding my breath

Make sure to clear your cache everyone so that you can experience the new zums with their updates - which are giving out much more zummies now.
