Zumbuddy is not getting her ZUMMIES! Please call GANZ

Yes, if you have only one zumbuddy there is no point to going into their room to have a party. I am just going to consider mine to be a pet of my pet and enjoy seeing it fly around my Penga when she is in her room.

When they first announced it, I thought that the zummies they would help you earn would be the same as the ones in the other game so that we could get some of those prizes. Since they are not the same, I guess that I don't need them.

What gets me is that they advertised Zumbuddies & “Zumwhere” to the hilt, before you can even BUY one!!!!
I’m sure that has more parents, than just me, NUTS already!!!
However, the few that have managed to get one, are able to do the “test run” thing, for the rest of us, and I really appreciate reading your input. It sounds as if Zumbuddies are more of a pain, than anything else.
I hope you Zum owners will keep us honestly updated on these little critters.
Buying the whole collection isn’t such a big deal, if they were even available! But, being so much trouble to take care of, disappearing food and all, outrageously expensive items, etc…, who’d want 6???????
And just one, doesn’t sound like it does ya much good!
They don’t seem anywhere near as user friendly, interactive, and fun as the plush pets. With the amount of trouble you have to go through with them, I can definitely see them getting ignored, left in their rooms and forgotten. Kid’s won’t play with that to long, to much frustration, and no return. Even if the parents spring for the $$$$$$. I would rather my kid’s were happy with their pets, than aggravated with them.
“the disappearing food” thing, is ridiculous!!!!! I’d rather spend the points on the plush pets, they are happy campers!

I just called Ganz myself and they informed me it is NOT a glitch. As has been said here, the more zumbuddies on one account that you have, the more chances of getting zummies. I told the CS rep that I had just bought four, but that they were expensive and that even with more zummies, there isn't much to do with them. I doubt it would hold childrens attention for more than a couple of weeks. Ganz hyped this up even before they were out there to buy. Webkinz are the best , but these zumbuddies are a cute little friend for our pets. Being an Early Childhood Educator, I really think if they don't do something to make this more involved, it won't work for kids or adults.....my opinion.They are also very hard to find. The Customer Service rep told me she would relay the meassage. I hope she does and if she does, that we see improvement. Don't hold back guys. Call them and complain. I think it could help.

Being an early child educator yourself as you said, frustrating a young child on purpose, isn’t a great teaching tool either IMO.
It isn’t just the money, and I’m sure these things will be available in time, however I think they got the “cart before the horse” on this one for sure, I couldn’t count how many times I’ve heard about the “Zumbuddies” YOU CAN’T FIND!!
I really don’t mind to much sending Gantz or Webkinz my money, as long as the kid’s are enjoying the game, & learning good things. Which there is a lot of in the website. For the most part they’ve done a great job. Teaching kid’s to take care of things, be respectable, kind, etc….. The E-store rakes in plenty of cash, the plushies, and klips, rake in plenty of cash, I know they’ve gotten plenty of mine! And that’s o.k. so far.
Their pets are happy & healthy, in return for good care, and the reward is you are able to do fun things for them, and learn reasonable challenges.
These Zums seem to be going in another direction to me.
I’m not going to buy a dog that is going to bite my child either!!! Or a toy that is going to intentionally frustrate them. There are other things to play with.

Ive had parties and spent KC trying to get these zummies, and seriously this is bs.. I was so EXITED about this, my zum is still at the store actually lol i know th owner and she gave me the code in advanced cuz she knows i'll pay. but SERIOUSLY the only online game i find my self complaining about is webkinz, and jeese 10-15 bucks for a zum?? when all it does is make you spend KC and you get absolutely nothing?? BS i tell you... and i never say any bad words or things like anything on forums EVER.. but i was super excited about this.. and it's like .. POINTLESS I'll keep you updated if ya want

ALSO they just came out and HOW IN THE WEBKINZ WORLD did that person get that prize hmm? in one week they were able to get 120 some blue zummies, and over 50 of the others?? in one week?? this seems fixed to me.... fixed to only people who know important GANGZ members actually get stuff... how stupid..

plus these zummies dont go towards much except for zum rooms anyway so why not just hand them out? GANGZ.. do you like watching our zums sit in total boredome?? well?? if you dont want to be inspected by WPCZ (Webkinz Protection againsed Cruelty to Zums) or something then give out them zummies so our zums have a caring and loving home... jeesh

So yea it's been 2 days and my baby lil Zum has been deprived of furniture and sleep, she has been constantly flying, and is so tired, and it's like you cant promise the poor dears something when there manufacturer could care less, ya now?

We just logged ours in (one per person) and it's almost impossible to keep their happiness up!!! We haven't gotten any zums for our parties and they just keep going thru all the food and toys we buy them! I mean they REALLY REALLY go thru them fast! There is no way to keep up with them kinzcash wise and then you don't even get rewarded with zum points after taking all your kc. Hmmm, I am very disappointed and wish I had read about them before I bought 6 (I did buy one extra for myself, lol, but haven't logged it in yet). Although I still think I would have bought them because they look so cute following your pet in the clubhouse. I do not however think they are worth the 13.00 each I spent on them. I think 5.00 would be a fairer price for them since you can't do much with them and they take all your kc with no returns zums.

I have all 6 Zum buddy's logged onto one account and we have 3 on another account and trust me...having 6 on an account does not result in obtaining Zummies any easier than when we had 1 zum buddy on the account...so if you call, don't let them tell you that, it is not true. I have called and the lady I spoke to said that they didn't want people collecting all the items in a week so they programmed it so it would be a continuing thing...I told her that she needed to pass on the info that there is nothing wrong with making zummie collection random, but there is a difference between random and almost nonexistant! I mean, not only do you not have access to prizes, but you can't even buy furniture....

Like I said, random zummies is one thing, but they don't even seem to be random....and there is little use in spending all your KC to feed and play with zums when really, you get NOTHING out of it right now!

Of course. You need to buy more Zumbuddies to get a better chance of getting Zummies.
