Default ZUMBUDDY has been fixed by Ganz!!
I just went to Webkinz News and they put an article on the front page about changing how the ZumBuddy works based on feedback. It looks like everyone calling them did the trick. It says that every party will yield zummies even if there is only one ZumBuddy on the account. Yeah!! Go check it out everyone.

It's going to be much harder to get them to throw a party I believe, but I'm finding the little zums are giving out MUCH more zummies just by playing with them and giving them what they want.

I think these changes made it WORSE than it was before! Now I can't get them happy for anything! I give them toys (that aren't cheap) and their happiness BARELY moves! At least before I could make them happy without spending KC, now it costs too much!
