Default Zumbuddies? is it worth it for younger players?

I've seen a lot of conflicting opinions on these Zumbuddies.
While I find the plushies really cute (and I know my young children will love the plush) I am reading that it is very difficult to keep your Zumbuddies happy. Also, that there is so much work involved in caring for them with very little reward.

It sounds more frustrating then fun, even for adults to do, never mind the younger players.

So my question is this:

Would anyone recommend this new product for children under the age of 10? Would it just be too frustrating for them to constantly try to figure out what to do for their 'buddies' and earn the rewards? Or do you think that little kids would enjoy these, too?

I'm on the fence, but leaning towards a "NO" answer at the moment. What do you think?

Thanks for your opinions and advice.

Some children under the age of 10 may be able to do it. Right now, I am having a challenge keeping my zum buddy happy and I am over the age of 10. I think that for now, it just isn't working right and sooner it will get easier. Everybody is having problems right now. :p

According to everybody ELSE, it takes way too much time to get Zummies. But I don't understand what's wrong with PATIENCE. I think that if someone under 10 wanted a Zumbuddy enough that they were willing to work at it, as it's a challenge, then it would be fine. But if they don't have a lot of patience, maybe not. It kinda depends on how they feel about it.

It is hard to keep those zumbuddies happy or whatever....I find it frustrating and am an adult...I got one just to see what it was like and boy...not what I thought..I would think a younger child would find it very difficult and too much time and money...can' t get furniture unless you have so many zummies and boy where do those come from..??? Personally I wouldn't get one for younger children, but maybe you would enjoy one..????

i just purches two of them today and i find it a big challange and i did not get any rewards from either of my parties, i also think it will take a lot of kinzcash to keep them happy. they are cute, but i think it is an all day event. Maybe they will get more of the bugs out and it will get easier, for now though, i need to focus on the dailies first.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm still leaning towards a "no go" for younger children.

But perhaps Ganz will work out the bugs and things will improve with time. Will have to keep an eye out for how people feel on these as the weeks (and a few rounds of maintenance) pass us by.

Thanks so much for your opinions.

Default Re: Zumbuddies? is it worth it for younger players?

I purchased one for my almost 7 year old, and she has been having a blast with it. Both as a plushie and on the website. She has been figuring out how to keep it happy in zumwhere. She has had a party in her zumwhere room a few times, but no zummies appear. Our biggest problem is not earning the zummies. For now we are hoping that this is a glitch the Ganz will work out. She really wants to buy furniture and items for her zum buddy.

I have one and so do both my daughters bot around the age of 10 and They love them but we are getting really frusterated by not earning any zummies.... we have made them have tons of parties but with no reward.... i hope Ganz fixes this or it will be a complete waste and they wont want to play with them. The items are way to expensive to even buy and if it is this hard we will never get anything...

I am an adult, a grandmother in fact. I must be too old for the zumbuddy because I can't figure it out for the life of me. It isn't much fun! But sure is cute!
