I wanted to clear up a matter. When it says the Toys and Food go away, this is after you have placed them in the Zumbuddy's room. You do want to be pretty sure the Zum will use it, before placing it in the room - because if they do not, the item will disappear after a certain amount of time.

The only time I have noticed that a Zumbuddy does not use something is; if it is upset - and you usually can tell if it is upset, if it is moving around a lot, or - with food - it has not said it was hungry.

Items do not disappear from the Zumbuddy dock - only from the room. And only food and toy items will disappear. Furniture will not. Note: When you purchase food or toys, you get several for each purchase. Example: Soccor Balls - you get 5 balls with each purchase.

Food and toys are purchased with KinzCash. Furniture is purchased with Zummies. As far as I can tell, your Zumbuddy Zummies are completely separate from your ZumWhere Zummies. As we had only 10 of each color in our Zumbuddies area, but about 70 of each color in the ZumWhere area.

Shellwcross - fantastic thread. Thank you! I was wondering what happens when you "remove buddy." Does the zummbuddy just return to its room? It doesn't disappear, does it? And what happens if you do not play with it for several days? Does its happiness go below 50%? I'm wondering how much K$ it takes a day to keep it happy.

After seeing this post I made a few calls to local retail stores- halmark and Justice. I live in a suburb of Houston, and Justice said they were definutly getting the buddies, and one halmark goldcrown said the same thing. the other halmarks had no idea what I was talking about. They all said that the buddies were a November release though and should be getting them in soon.

My son and I have a list of which ones we want first. He wants the red zippy Zum and I have my eye on the pink one or the one with his tongue sticking out-- SOOO CUTE!!

I talked to a manager at Justice for girls today and she said they were getting some in. My Hallmark ladies didn't know what they were and said that they would call and check into getting some. My Books A Million guy didn't know what they were and they didn't know if they were going to get any in. I'm going to check some more tomorrow. Those were all at the mall. I'm going to check locally tomorrow. I've gotta have some!!!

I guess it's true....misery loves company. It sure makes me feel better knowing that I 'm not the only person facing this problem. Thanks to everyone in my support group, lol.

Oooo la la! They're adorable in every sense of the word. Parents and Grandparents will have their work cut out finding them. I speak from experience. Online retailers have run out. There's a few on ebay but they're expensive. Price hasn't stopped people from flocking to buy. I bid 91.00 for a complete set and lost. These things are lava hot!!
