Caring Valley Codes, Does anyone know?

I have another caring valley code from a pinto (september's CV pet) if I hold onto it and enter it in October will I get September's Tree or October's? Just wondering if anyone knew the answer. I really like October's tree! Thanks.

It does not matter what pet the Caring Valley code comes from, it goes by when you plant the seeds. If you want the October tree, just wait until then to plant your seeds & you will receive that tree.

Kimber21 is correct. The month you plant your seeds determines which try you get. And...if you plant 2 trees in the same month, you get your choice of all of the past trees, for your second tree!

Just to be a little clearer. If you plant 2 trees in the same month, you get three choices for the tree. The current month and the previous two. So not all the past trees.
