I thought I did something wrong too but I think it's like the gem hunt because I did the same thing and on some accounts it just said miss and on others I got the star cookie and on another acct I got a 'star" for my collection. but it's also similar to the charm forest.... cause sometimes you get food like you do in the charm forest.
BUT it's still like the gem hunt because if you get a star- you can exchange it for kc or keep it- just like the gems.

The only thing I don't get is when I click a shooting star- like it says- all I see is SHOOTING STAR show up across there but nothing happens- don't get anything and doesn't say "miss" either. *confused*

pretty straight forward
you just click on a glowing star and you see if that constellation gives you a prize

this looks like it is going to be fun. I found a star on two of my accounts and nothing on the thrid.

Someone said they only got a MISSED sign Keep trying you get three tries like in the gem hunt.

I was offered 554 KC for one of my stars, it was actually a moon I think they called it lumanistic or something like that. way cool
