Night time finally. Sheyla carefully stretched each of her aching limbs and arched her back in a rather feline way. I'd forgotten how tiring traveling is. The fea looked around at the rest of her sleeping packmates and sighed. Not many wolves were up at this time of night, especially now that everyone was tired from constant movement. | | | 08-14-2009, 11:03 PM | #82 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 22,232 | Re: The Wolves of Saqqara - Part 3: The Journey Originally Posted by BlackLab39 ((Lol, cool, Lake! xD Can I see the pic of this wolf that now looks like Roan?)) It probably will end up being good for the pack, and so far the journey doesn't seem to be going that hard on us." he nodded Alyxa took a final bite, savoring what might be her last meal for several days. "I appreciate your honesty. Although I don't really feel like I had a choice." She sighed. "I just don't want the pack to think I'm leading them on a fool's journey. If we come to a point where we can't go on any more, we can always settle in another part of the desert. It wouldn't really be that much different from our old territory. The desert all looks the same. That's part of its charm," she added, her voice sarcastic. Originally Posted by [xo] lipgloss "Maybe desert grass?" Come on mice, he pleaded silently, his eyes fixed on the hole. | | | 08-14-2009, 11:08 PM | #86 | Gifted Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 12,316 | Re: The Wolves of Saqqara - Part 3: The Journey Originally Posted by Lake (Well, I sorta cheated and only used a head short. xD

How could he have become a part of this? He was no pack equal--he shared nothing and contributed even less. Did he care? He turned his head back to the path in front of him, walking slowly to lessen the weight on his paws. | | | 08-14-2009, 11:09 PM | #88 | Gifted Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 14,176 | Re: The Wolves of Saqqara - Part 3: The Journey ((Oooh, that's really pretty Lake! )) | | | 08-14-2009, 11:12 PM | #89 | ^above^ Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 14,445 | Re: The Wolves of Saqqara - Part 3: The Journey Mason snickered at "part of the charm". Not likely. "I'm sure we'll make it, even if it seems impossible we'll figure something out. We always have, probably always will. Even if we don't, we've lived in the desert for a long time, we can continue." | | | 08-14-2009, 11:14 PM | #90 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 9,781 | Re: The Wolves of Saqqara - Part 3: The Journey Originally Posted by Lake (Thanks, Ari! Soon, Comet heard faint squeaking and sniffing sounds coming out of the burrow," I think I hear at least one," she smiled at how intelligent she was,"Okay, when it comes out, just grab it? Or wait to see if there are others?" | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
