Welcome to SnowClan Book 1: The Beginning of an Old End

SnowClan is a peaceful Clan. Its territory has cold leaf bares, but beautiful green leafs. There are other clans some where near them, but SnowClan has yet to found out about them. SnowClan is courageous and powerful, being able to travel in the worst of blizzards.

Prologue

Snowheart padded through the horrible blizzard roaring in his ears in the coldness of the night. He had wandered out of the forest 3 moons ago not knowing where he was going. Just padding forward, stopping to sniff the air for cat scent every few minutes. Every time Snowheart did, all he scented was the snow, prey, and the forest around him. Snowheart just wandered- on and on and on.

Snowheart then felt colder than he did before. He searched for a cave or something he could sleep in. He found a small crevice in the mountain and squeezed him self in.


Snowheart had slept well. He opened his eyes to see that the blizzard had stopped.
As the pure white tom sniffed the air again, he scented something, something very familiar… cat scent! Snowheart bounded after the smell coming from a cave in the side of the mountain on the tom’s left side.

As he entered the cave, he noticed a black tom sitting next to a white she-cat. In the she-cat’s lap were two kits. One brown with a white patch on her back and one pure white like its mother.

“Hello, who are you?” Snowheart asked the tom.
“I am Steamtail.” He said looking down at his mate.
“I am Starpelt.” The she-cat said in a soft and welcoming voice.
“I am Snowheart, a Warrior in TreeClan. I had been on patrol and I was attacked by a pack of dogs. The older Warrior in the patrol told me to run away. I followed his command and ran through the forest. One of the dogs chased me, ripping up my flank. I felt like I could daze off , but kept running. As I turned my head, I saw nothing but forest that I had never saw before-” Snowheart said getting cut of by Starpelt.

“Oh… we were both born in a Clan, DreamClan. Our Clan was scattered. Packs of rats and dogs had attacked… our territory was so beautiful and full of prey! Sparkling lakes surrounded us and they owned delicious fish!” Starpelt said smiling.

“How will we survive out here?” Asked Steamtail. “There are no Clans to join….”

“But are there Clans to make?” Snowheart said keeping his voice low.

As soon as he said that, a StarClan cat padded into the cave.
“Hello. I am Goldennose. Bad things have happened since you 3 have left the forest. All of the Clans have scattered.” Goldennose said.

“W-w-what happened to the Clans?” Snowheart said with astonishment in his amber eyes and in his voice.

“Dog attacks, rat attacks, twolegs, and huge monsters. It has killed almost every cat… except you three.” Goldennose mewed.

“That…means--“Snowheart started to say.

“Yes. You must create a new Clan. We will give you three to pick and choose the cats that will belong to the clan. Search and search for cats- rouge or clan born, if there are other cats out there.” Goldennose exclaimed.

“Snowheart, will you be leader of SnowClan?” Goldennose asked.
“Y-y-yes.” he said.

"Then in a dream, soon I will give you your nine lives and very real ceremony." Goldennose said. " And you two- I mean four. Steamtail and Starpelt," She fixed her eyes on them and continued "You will become warriors, your kits- well kits."

"Thank-you" they both chorused dipping their heads."

Clan History

TreeClan

TreeClan is a wonderful clan. It’s land is beautiful; trees, flowers, stone, and stream are strewn through it. TreeClan is swift and curious. All cats born in TreeClan have the talent of climbing; long curved claws help them.

DreamClan

DreamClan is a mystical Clan. Beautiful sparkling lakes surround their territory. All medicine cats can speak to StarClan through the lakes. DreamClan is mystical. All cats born in DreamClan have the power to see thing happening in the future, but medicine cats can see days in the future and all other cats can see minutes.

Territory and Dens

Nursery

The nursery is a big cave, with beautiful wild flowers around it. There are tons of nests for sick cats, but sicker or hurt cats usually just lay on the floor.
Also, there is a pool in the floor for drinking.

Territory of SnowClan

SnowClan’s territory stretches from SnowLake to Fern Rocks. There are many Evergreen trees. Bears roam around SnowClan’s territory, a great threat to cats that wander there, but good to scare of badgers and other predators. Also, many herbs can be found.

The cats in SnowClan use caves in the side of the mountain as their dens.

Medicine Cats ect.

Medicine cats go into the Little Tree Cave to meet with StarClan. In side the huge cave is a pine tree. The cats press their muzzles angainst the trunk of the tree, close there eyes and are taken away.

The Medicne cats den is- wonderful! There are ledges on the sides of the walls to store herbs. In the bottom of the floor is a small pool for the medicine cats and other cats to drink from when they can't make it to the lake.

Warriors Apprentice ect.

The warriors den and the apprentice dens are usually bushes like all other dens. They have nests made out of moss.

Clan Gatherings / Leaders Den

Clan gatherings are different from clan meetings. They are held at the Big Pine. The Big Pine is where SnowClan meets to share things. No other clans exist around them, so they don't meet with other cats, but sometimes cats in the forest come to watch.

The leaders den is a cave, unlike the warriors, apprentice, and elders den.

Rules

-You can not have more than 5 characters. Some exceptions can be made.
-Do not talk of topic. If you want to, do this { }, this [ ], this ( ), or this (( ))
-Do not use somebody else’s character name.
- Do not curse while roleplaying
-Do not fight with any members of the RP. But, there can be fights while rping.
-Do not name your cat a name such as ‘Alice’ if it is a Clan cat. I am not saying you can’t name a rouge, a wanderer, or a curious kitty pet ‘Alice’. But please don’t name a soon to be warrior a name like that.
- No cats can start as elders, but can grow up and become elders

Tribes

Tribes are coming to SnowClan in Book 2 or the end of Book 1!! You can join any of the two tribes, The Tribe of Running Lightning (evil) and The Tribe of Forest Light (good) on the chosen dates, but I will make exceptions.
The Tribe of Running Lightning's color code is dark red. But don't get confused with my SnowClan cat, Steamtail, whose color code is the came color. I will place any information about Tribes here.
The Tribe of Forest Light'color code is dark green.

The Tribe of Running Lightning

The Tribe of Running Lightning is an evil tribe. They plan to kil SnowClan and all of its cats. Cats in this tribe are very tough to cats outside of the tribe, but loyal to its in tribe. This tribe will do anything to kill.

The Tribe of Forest Light is a good tribe. They are planning to save SnowClan when The Tribe of Running Lightning trys to kill them. The cats in this tribe are good climbers, friendly, and loyal to every cat- even if the cat isn't in their tribe.

Snowstar padded through the snow to the Warriors den. He noticed Morningsun; a creamy colored cat sitting there.
"Hi" said Snowstar "I have a question for you."

The warrior look up, her ears flicked towards the tom. "Yes, Snowstar?" She inquired, dipping her head to her leader.

"None of our two apprentices have a mentor- and I was wondering if you could become a mentor." asked Snowstar.
Snowstar still had to choose which apprentice to choose for Morningsun- Steampaw or Icepaw. Icepaw was just a little bit older than Steampaw, so Snowstar wass leaning more towards Icepaw than Snowpaw.

Morningsun nodded, and rose to her feet. "I'd be delighted to mentor one of them." She smiled. The thought of her very own apprentice was exciting.
