Ok, I think we should try one of these and see how it goes.

First, let's get the rules out of the way:

This is not a chat thread. Posts need to be about role-playing.

It's not to be used as a "find a mate" thread.

No arguing or rudeness. Also, please don't make accusations...for instance, it's better to say "Sometimes I have a hard time finding someone to rp with me" rather than "Everybody on the Gopher Supermodel thread hates me!"

I'll add more rules, if I think of them.

So what are we going to do?

Talk about role-plays.

Share ideas about plots and characters.

Post announcements about medicine cat gatherings and such.

Ask questions about role-plays.

Please remember that if you are posting about your role play, this is done at your own risk. We can not check every post in this thread to see if someone has "stolen" the idea.

Ok, so I'm going to start with a question:

What makes you want to join a role-play? The title? The type of thread (wolves, dragons, etc)? The person who is leading it? Who the other members are?

So are you drawn to Warriors threads?

The type of thread and sometimes the owner. Or if it is new I will try it out

I guess for me it's... well, it depends on a few things.

• If the roleplaying is good.
• If I like the people/plot

• And, most importantly... if I have a character who I know would work well in that roleplay.

Some roleplays I've joined and then found that it just isn't for me, so I ask the owner of the thread to delete my characters, apologize for not being able to roleplay there anymore, then I never post on the thread again. I've done that a few times now... Sometimes it gets to be a little overwhelming. I have at least five sites that I visit every day where I roleplay, and on each site I may be on ten or fifteen threads. I started cutting down where I roleplay however, and feel a little better.

Normally I see what it's about first. Sometimes I can use an existing character of mine, but sometimes I have to create a whole new one, and I like a challenge. I used to love animal roleplays, but now I've kind of been drawn to human ones. I also like to see if the author of the thread knows what they're doing...I don't like total chat speak, and some1 wh tkls lik dis tcks mee off lol lol lol lol lol lol lol.

Well, ya. I tried the Fireclan one, but didn't like it. So I just stick with Rose, Mist, Bramble & Storm.

I don't like all chatspeak either like that Ave and Dragster. It iritates me to.
