(SH) "You're right!" Paintedcloud said. She shook her head. "I'm sorry about all this. I'm not the horse I used to be. Carefree and fun to be around." She laughed half-heartedly, and galloped back to where Shadow and Dark were. "Starflash!" She yelled.

(SH) Dark turned.

((Lol, hp! ))

(MH) Tanner came out. "Come on," He whispered in her ear. "I promise, it'll be okay."

Firemoon followed.

Starflash struggled to get up. He couldn't: Shadow had broken his leg.

SHH) "I think im better off as a loner, and Starflash, im sorry" Shadow neighed in a serious tone, he galloped away

"no!" Starflash yelped, helpless. With all his strength, he got up and ran flat-out, not caring about the broken bone in his body. He was no near as fast as Shadow.

SH) "Shadow, you'd better come back or I'll hurt you so bad you'll wish you never were born!" She neighed feircly.

"stop it!" starflash yelled to Paintedcloud over his shoulder. "don't you see? threatening isn't going to help anyone!"

RIH) Lily turned to Paintedcloud "I thought fighting was never the answer" she neighed

SHH) "Come her Starflash, we'll talk, alone" Shadpw neighed and supported the side the had the broken leg on it

(SH) "It'll help us look tough," Paintedcloud whispered. "Are you alright? We need to start battle training......" She ran through ideas rapidly. "And I will not let you talk with Starflash alone, Shadow!"

Starflash was amazed. Shadow, the traitor... helping him. He felt compelled to say, 'I told you so' to paintedcloud, but didn't think this was the time. He limped along, easier now that Shadow was helping.
