Welcome everyone!
A long time ago...........
Shadow walked in the forests, his red eyes shining and his nostrils flaring in anger. He used to be the normal colt, mid. horse, and half of his adulthood. But then, he got in a quarrel with his mate, and his mate was killed soon after......but who was it who killed her? The Herd had believed Shadow had done the crime, some overhearing the arguement. He had been exiled, but Shadow knew he wasn't guilty of killing his mate. He had loved her. But now, he was angry. Plotting to kill. Thinking. His evil mind began to think, "I'll make another herd. I shall call it.......Shadow Herd!" He thought triumphantly. He later went over to the Loner horses and the Horsepets. "Come with me," He would whisper in their ears. He hypnotized them, and they came. But there was one horse in particular he knew that could stop him........Emberheart. Emberheart was the god of Sky Herd, which is the deceased horses from all herds who live in the sky. She held the power of goodness and light, Shadow's weaknesses. But Shadow had something against her.......darkness. Emberheart came down from Sky Herd, seeing Shadow's plan. In the Epic Battle against each other, Emberheart came out on top. She was good, so she did not kill Shadow. Soon Shadow died of his hypnotized crew turning against him. They killed him and went back to their old lives.
Now..........
Years after the Epic Battle, the grandson of Shadow was born. His parents named him Dark, for his beautiful coat that showed off no light. He was a member of Sun Herd, but nobody talked to him. They were scared. When Dark became older, he decided he would get revenge on his herd for mistreating him. He follows in his grandfather's footsteps.......

Announcements:
I have now added unicorns! They also can have 1 special power! The power has to come from their horn on the top of their head, though. For example, if your unicorn thinks of something, such as a waterfall, a waterfall will appear in front of her/him. Unicorns can be male or female! In addition, every unicorn has to have a special marking on him/her such as rainbow hooves or a lavender diamond on his/her forehead. Unicorns live in one special herd, ruled by a queen. Also, unicorns can live up to 100 years old while the queen can grow to be 500.
You probably have heard me talking about the new herd Shadow Herd for a while now. Well, it is finally here! Ttyycool56 has Shadow, the horse introduced in the introduction above. He is the stallion leader. I do need a mare leader, so anyone who wants the position, just ask! And also, there is a new position in Shadow Herd which is called Beta. Beta is like a deputy, the one who is in charge of the herd when the leader is ill, injured, or gone. If the leader dies, the Beta will take place of the horse in the same gender! Also, leah_hope92 has created a plot for me. I will use it later on, maybe in the third part, when everyone has settled into this new thread and some more members have come here.

Territories:
River Herd Territory: A marshy plain with many water sources in it. The biggest river is the border for Moon Herd territory.
Moon Herd territory: A vast and plentiful forest with a clearing in the heart of their territory. The moon is always in plain sight there. The start of the pasture on the right side is the start of Rose Herd territory.
Rose Herd territory: A large pasture full of roses and long grass. The sun sets here. The start of the woods on the right side is the broder to Sun Herd territory.
Sun Herd territory: A small pasture with woods on one side. The sun rises here. The other side of the woods (a large fragment) is the start of River Herd territory.
Shadow Herd Territory: A small clearing with a bramble thicket surrounding the main camp. They have a very thick woodland, which the other herds say cast dark shadowes over their hearts, making them evil.

Yes, I know, they aren't my favorite either, but this is what keeps the orderliness here.

2. Please respect others. If there is a problem, flag it.
3. No physical contact. Your animals (horses) may have mates, but this must not be shown beyond a nuzzle or grooming.
4. Please keep it PG.
5. Disagreements, stuggles, and strife happen, but please nothing gross or gory.
6. No youtube links.
7. Please make your horses have weaknesses if they are magical.
8. Please talk about the role-play for the most part. Keep the chat to the open mike section.

10. When your horse is speaking, please put (MH) (RH) (RV) or (SH) depending on which herd it is in!
11. And PLEASE make your horses have a reasonable amount of foal(s) when they are pregnant!

Questions:
If I have a leader, and someone else has the other leader's position, does that mean that they are mates?: If you are a leader, and someone else has the other leader's position, that doesn't mean you are mates! You can if you want tobe, but you definetely don't have to!
Mate Rules:
When your horse meets another horse that it loves, the stallion or mare asks to be mates ususally. You must wait 5 real days before this can happen. Then, after this, you horse might have a baby. You must wait 4 days after mating for the mare to have the baby. When your horse has a baby or foal(s), please make ot a reasonable amount. Not like 6 or 10. Your horses baby can grow up whenever you want it to, just let it be a reasonable amount of time before it grows into a colt or filly. The users that play the mother must turn the forms into me by PM or VM. Thanks for reading!

Raine: Raine is a paint. Her coat is a reddish-brown with large white spots all over. The white spots are traced around with a silver lining. Her eyes are a dull misty blue. Her mane and tail are both reddish-brown as well but a bit matted from her travels. Raine is as fiery spirited as a bucking bronco but can be sweet. She's not easy to warm up to and won't warm up easily to most horses. She is a very talented story-teller and she often spent nights listening to stories and making her own when she was traveling. She is very soft and tender to foals because they're young and she considers them the only truly innocent ones. She hates humans and anything to do with them
