I sat at a table in the common room, my homework spread out in front of me. I tapped my fingers on the table impatiently.

I swung my legs over a chair and plopped down in the seat, wand in hand. I twirled my fingers around it, caressing it's smooth wooden outer.

I slammed my textbook shut and stuffed everything back into my bag, which I then zipped up and dropped carelessly on the floor.

I opened my textbook, exasperated. I didn't feel like doing homework. I felt like embracing the wonders of spring. I know it sounds tacky, but it's what I wanted. I pulled out a sheet of parchment and a quill.

I answered the *******'s riddle and pushed open the door. I stepped into the common room, a thick book tucked under my arm.

Rhee entered the room, and I took my eyes off the paper I was supposed to be writing. The parchment fluttered to the floor as I stood up and said hi.
