Kara saw her do this, and instinctively went to work. She first winked at Merideth, then blinked.But when she blinked, her eyes stayed shut a second longer than usual and when her eyes opened, they glimmered for a split second. Suddenly, boys of every house came rushing over and made a crowd, surrounding the three girls. Nicholas (hufflepuff) pushed a girl named Rhee out of the way, trying to get to Kara. Amist all the people, Merideth strode by Rhee and stole her wand, stuffing it in her robes. Kara saw this happen, and did the same blinking thing again.
