I soared down to land, perfectly balanced, in front of her, then changed back to human form. I grinned. "Hey."

I let out a small yelp and saw Rhee standing there.
"Woah. Talk about an adrenaline rush," I panted. "How did you even get in here, anyways? And why are you in here?" I wondered aloud.

"I saw you in here and wondered what you were doing."

"Elissa poured pudding down my shirt, assumed I would hex her, and ran in here. I don't wanna hex her. Right now I just want to find her," I replied.

[rattyjol]

"Ah. Want me to help?"

"If you like. But we're both gonna get busted if we get caught, so if you don't want to...."

[rattyjol]

"No, it's fine. I'll be right back." I changed back into owl form and took off, resisting the rather childish urge to circle around and see her reaction.

I shuddered slightly. It still freaked me out to see things like that. "Elissa? Come on, Liss. We're gonna get busted if we get caught in here!"

I stayed quiet, contrary to Aspen's wishes. I knew she wouldn't be mad at me, which was the worst thing. I wanted at least some reaction from someone. Someone to notice me. I was jealous. Badly. And the way I was acting certainly didn't help things.

I flew around Aspen in a loose circle, spiraling outward as I searched for some sign of movement.

I sneezed. Loudly.
