"You're going down," I told her as Brett approached the edge of the dock. He turned around to look at us.
"I still don't think this is fair," He announced, before taking two steps back and launching himself off the dock. It was a good splash, kicking up waves that drenched the edges of the dock.
"Nine," Derik said.
"Nine point five," Milly said, getting a deserving elbow from Derik.
"Nine," I agreed, looking to Ty.

I was semi-excited she knew something about them. It meant more answers.

I wasn't really sure whether it was a nine or not, but I went along with everybody else.
"Yeah, nine," I said, trying to seem like I knew what I was talking about. It really wasn't all that hard to, I was guessing.

"They're three brother people. Muggle-born. Derik's the oldest and he hangs around Milly, that other girl down there. And then there's Brett, the middle one. I think I've seen him with Jaden before," I explained. "And then Quinn. I guess him and Ty have some sort of relationship or something."

"Go get em, tiger," Milly said gingerly touched Derik's hand, and I made a gagging noise.
She glared at me, elbowing me sharply in the ribs. Derik took a running start, hitting the water with a splash equal to Brett's.
"Nine," I said.
"Nine point eight," Brett said, shaking his wet hair off.
"Ten," Milly said with a grin.

I studied their actions for a moment. If they didn't have some sort of relationship, they definitely had some sort of something. I could tell by just looking at the way they acted and looked at each other and smiled. It was a lot easier to tell than people thought. It's easy to see a lot of things if you're watching from far away.
"How do you know all of that?" I wondered. She seemed like a good source of information.

Ten was perfect; pretty much impossible to beat. And I knew Quinn always wanted to beat his brothers at something or another, and I wanted him to, too. Just so he'd be happy. So I said,
"Nine."
Then I added, "Now it's Milly's turn."

I loved thrillers and anything horror. I wasn't sure if I had already told her this or not, maybe I mentioned something about it. "Thrillers and horror is my favorite," I told her, hoping she would have better luck at finding something.
