I didn't really know how to comfort a girl, but I figured sort of calling her pretty might help.

I grinned, even though that was kind of a weird thing to say.

"Oh, well I don't know. I'm usually out of the loop," I informed them. I was a little bit confused. They talked kind of fast. I wonder if they finished eachother's sentences. I didn't really like it when people did that. "Did you guys do anything today?" I asked.
