I shrugged a little stubbornly. It had never been officially set in stone, it had always been twisted and complicated. Did I love him? Yeah, I did. But ever since the third year when we had decided that separate ways were better for the both of us, the complications and consequences doubled. What we had originally thought was a help-along ended up being not as good.
"Things change," I told her after a prolonged pause.

"Good, Very good." I have improved my life alot since we last met. Something in her eyes told me she was holding something back. I will leave it alone, if it was something important she would tell me. "Oops!" I said, and pushed her into the water. "Hahaha"

It never reached my mouth, just wound around my fingers.

I brushed it off. I wasn't going to hold it against him for pushing me in the water. I guess he didn't know I had almost drown when I was younger. I rubbed my shoulder, and turned red. "Yeah. You've changed alot since the last time I saw you," I said. After I said this, I looked down at the grass and started picking at it.

I was outside, sitting up in a tree. I was straddling the branch, doing my best not to fall off. It wasn't too far up off the ground, so falling wouldn't hurt me too bad, but I would feel stupid nonetheless. I sighed, leaning back a little bit to rest my back against the trunk of the tree.
I didn't really have a reason for climbing the tree. Mostly I'd just wanted a place to think. I had only one of my ear buds in my ear, blasting my music- which I was glad to have back. I was doing my very best to concentrate on the lyrics, but I kept getting caught up in my thoughts and forgetting.
