"Oh," I said, nodding my head. "Um... well it's good your not afraid of water, then. Once I fell out of a tree when I was five and broke my collar bone, but I'm not afraid of trees. Though I'm sort of afraid of falling out of them, still..." Rambling again.

Aha. I'd won the fight thing, but I didn't feel very accomplished. I sighed. This was not fantastic.

I pulled two cans out of the fridge, setting one on the table (magically appeared table) in front of her and one in front of me.
