"Okay," I said, situating myself so the book was resting on my stomach. I turned a few pages, slower at first and then as I got back into pace I read quicker.

Brett was normally a faster reader than I, but luckily I'd learned to keep up with him. I turned a page and quickly read it's content. I was excited to see what else would happen in this lovely story.

I didn't see a need to reply to Quinn as I pushed back a cuticle as slowly and smoothly as I could, and if I said so myself, I did a good job. I was almost a professional at this now; I'd had so much practice.
