Miaka relaxed slightly and unzipped her windbreaker. She slipped it of one wing carefully, and then started on the other. Then she started tucking her wings in next to her shirt.

"Because it's ten o'clock in the morning." I chuckled. "Be right back."
I walked into the lunchroom, humming tunelessly. Hopefully Amanda would be okay; I'd grab some ice on my way back.
"Here." I slid a tray with a bagel and cream cheese over to Emily, adn carefully lifted Amanda's head off her pillow. Quickly lying it back down on teh ice, I smiled.

Emily rolled her eyes and sat criss-cross. She held her head on her hands with her elbows pushing down on her knees. Once the tray came, She said, "Thank you." And said her prays quickly and quietly, and dug in.

Miaka slipped back in the room and pulled her windbreaker back on. She slid down the wall next to her, and sighed of releve.

Midori sat on a bench by the fountain, flipping through a bunch of old cards she had. She tried not to touch the pictures, for she knew what would happen if she did, and the action was not presently necessary. After she looked at the last card she put them back in their leather case and sighed.
