Isabella leaned against the base of a tree trunk, bored as she read a letter from her guardian. He always tried to make her feel as if she were in her home again, but she was fine! Why couldn't he understand that? Of course she loved him and all, but he could be so difficult. She sighed, folding the piece of parchment and slipping it into her bag. She darted up the tree in a hurry, wanting a little acrobatics practice.

Devin logged out of the computer, and exited the library rather quickly. Something about the place always seemed to give her the creeps. She shook the thoughts away, and focused on the over-cast weather outside. A cold gust of wind whipped passed her face as she left the building, making her frown. | | | |

Devin strolled silently down the small path that connected the campus into one big structure. Sometimes it felt like a plantation rather than a school, or a home for that matter. Sometime stung her arm at that moment, like a small branch had grazed her skin. Dev looked up, surprised to see a girl running head-long for her. Isabella silently stood up, gazing around at the grounds. Her eyes traveled to a dog running around, barking while people laughed, how did they smuggle it into the school? She shrugged, looking around for something to occupy her mind.
