Moontail sat near the FireClan border, waiting for a patrol, or another cat, she sighed, Why did I do this in the first place..? She asked herself, then picking up a firmilliar scent..Softheart!? She smiled as the tabby she-cat padded up to her.
"Moontail? What are- but you're- Is something wrong.?" Softheart stammered, suprised to see her mentor and friend this close to FireClan territory.

Stormfang began to walk over to the fresh-kill pile, then spotting a sad looking Stripedtail, he padded over to her, "What's wrong?" he asked.

Moontail sighed, fighting back tears, "He's gone." she whimpered, "They took him from me."
"Wha- who? Who are you talking abou-" Softheart nearly gave herself a heart-attack, "Oh Moontail it cant be- not-"
Moontail cut her off, nodding miserably, "Yes- Softheart..he's dead."
"But what are you doing here?" Softheart asked, sympathy flashing in her eyes.
Moontail sighed, "I-I've come to rejoin my birthclan- now that he's gone- I have no reason to be part of MoonClan."
"What about your kit- Cloudypaw and Crowpaw?" Softheart asked, curious, "Are they coming too?"
"Cloudystorm and Crowtalon are warriors now.. They can make their own decisions. I didn't give them a choice in going to MoonClan, but now it's up to them if they want to return." She explained sadly, "I'll return to MoonClan until Sundown and give them their choice.." she then murmured, "I just hope they make the right one."
"They've grown into great cats,Moontail.." Softheart mewed.
Moontail nodded, "Explain to Snowstar my situation and if she'll have me- I'm coming back."

Moontail padded back to MoonClan camp, Might as well explain to my kits first.. She sighed, padding into the warriors den. "Cloudystorm- Crowtalon- Wake up- I-I need to explain something to you." she meowed nervously.
"What's wrong?" Cloudystorm asked with a yawn.
"Yeah, what is it so important that you had to wake us up?" Crowtalon meowed, padding out of the warriors den alongside his sister. His bitter tone was nothing compared to the sadness in his eyes.
Moontail sighed, "Look- now that your father has died- I-I have no reason to stay in MoonClan.." she meowed slowly, "I- I'm going back to be with FireClan."
"What?!" Cloudystorm meowed, shocked. She suddenly felt sick.
Crowtalon just stood there, jaw gaping.
