Chronicler then came up as well and looked at Hinzel. "So that's taken care of," he said, his grey scales gleaming to a lighter tone. "I'll stay out here a little longer, I need some fresh water." he dived back in and swam around freely.
"He seems to like to swim," Hinzel said, watching Chronicler swim. Leo's fine, Crystal. Hinzel thought in a voice so soft that Leo shouldn't have been able to hear. He was just seeing how long he could hold his breath.
Crystal sighed in relief. She hid behind the hill and zoomed off high into a tree full of dark green leaves. She hoped Leo wouldn't find her up there. If you need me, I'm up a tree. she told Hinzel. | | | |
