No she didn't. She couldn't have...Plus I-I'm sure I'm not the only one with a lightning bolt scar out there.

Uh, last time I checked Harry-dear, yes, yes you were. Hedwig smiled. "I do feel much better, actually," she laughed, sitting up and glancing down at her wing. "How long till I can fly again?"

Lauren heard what they said but remained calm and stroked Hedwig, her face zonked out like it'd been all day from so many different things. Absent-mindedly she stroked Hedwig's head and scooped the dragons up in her arms.

"Maybe a week or two. Depends on how your wing heals but don't you dare try flying with it without it fully healed," she said with a warm smile across her face.

Hedwig laughed, "Don't worry, I won't!" she sang, smiling up at the doctor.

Harry stood, "Thank you, Susan," he said, smiling at her warmly.

Lauren looked down at Hedwig and rolled her eyes with her sort-of smile across her features. "Thanks, Susan," she hugged her and walked out of the room calmly with Hedwig.

"No problem," Susan shrugged to the two. Her eyes looked at Harry and she shook her head a bit. Course Lauren was friends with a Harry-look-alike.

He nodded, chuckled, and walked after Lauren swiftly.

Hedwig dragged herself to sit on Lauren's shoulder. "I do feel better now!" she said happily, shifting around a bit and grinning.

"Good!" Harry said, smiling at his dragon.

Hedwig dragged herself to sit on Lauren's shoulder. "I do feel better now!" she said happily, shifting around a bit and grinning.

"Good!" Harry said, smiling at his dragon.

"That's good," she nodded to Hedwig then looked back down at her feet, her hands burried in her pockets. There was only one way to find out. A hand slipped out of her pocket and she gripped her other arm with it. "Can I ask you an honest question, Harry?"

Hedwig, nipped playfully at her ear and leaned against her.

Lauren gave an impulse shrug at Hed nipping at her ear, "There's the quirky little dragon." She took a deep breath, "Ever heard of a half-blood? This might make sense but probably won't but it might I mean... Well if... Well have you?" she asked nervously.

Harry shut his eyes lightly. "I do believe I have," he replied after a little while. "Hedwig's friends with a little dragon who's owner is a half-blood. Can shift into a werewolf, I believe."

Lauren felt herself relax and she nodded a bit, her mouth set in a line, "Well, there's werewolves and vampires. A vampire half-blood is simply human but slightly faster, slightly stronger and they mature a bit faster than most people. They also have a gift. A special thing about them that makes them..." she was silent then her eyes seemed mroe focused. 'Unique,' she whispered into his mind.

Harry froze and stared at her. "Did you just speak in my head like Hedwig does?" he asked, amazed. Except instead of saying this, he thought it.

Hedwig yawned softly and curled up in the crook of Lauren's neck, fall asleep instantly.
