Freddy gave his normal, happy smile. Obviously getting his arm stepped-on and cut hadn't hindered his innocent adorableness from shining through. "Hi-hi, Hopey!"

Jasper took a seat by Sophia, and slowly lifted his hand towards her shoulder, but then rested it on the ledge of the mattress for a moment, not shifting its position an inch. "Before I do...," he said with his glance down, and then brought it up to Sophie's. "I'm so sorry I couldn't help you much during the battle, besides this."

Sophia turned her head towards him, looking up at him with slightly pained gray eyes. She smiled very weakly, a tiny tear trickling down her cheek. She whispered in a barely audible voice into his mind. It's okay.

The corners of Jasper's mouth barely picked up; the change was almost unnoticeable. He nodded before resting a hand on her shoulder is gently as he could.

[The song "Why" by Rascal Flatts is giving me ideas... *sighs* But it'd be so evil! It would be an old Crystal plan in progress for another! xP]

Nick walked silently through the DE, the sense of death pushing down on him hard. He wasn't hurt, but a cut on his shoulder.

"Hi Freddy" She said, Giving her best to sit up, wincing, and holding her arms out for the little boy to come give her a hug

Carlos laughed, clearly cheared up "Hi Lauren" He said, getting up and walking over to her and hugging his sister. He didn't pay attention to the broken picture frame, hoping they would ignore it also.

Sophia didn't pass out like she normally did when he used the power on her; she simply fell asleep like she usually would.
Jacey looked around, "I can't guarantee this will work; but I've been practicing my hardest." She nodded, and then placed an index finger on the wound, and her other hand palm down next to it. She then pressed down, causing pain to shoot up Sophia's spine. Before she even had a chance to scream, she was pulled under.
Jacey's palm facing down hand shot around, as if the arrowhead were running away. Suddenly, the wound disappeared, and Jacey was holding something in her fist, "Gotcha." She whispered, opening her palm. The crimson arrowhead appeared, "I better take this back to Sasha."
Samantha's head shot up curiously, "Sasha the Sniffer?" She asked, the corner of her mouth pulling up.
Sophia's ragged breathing then slowed until they were back to normal.

"Hey twerp," she ruffled his hair and laughed. "Wow, you cleaned up?" she looked around with a laugh. She was a bit relaxed; she wasn't alone though. She had John, Danny, Carly, the twins, and Drina still.

"Hey! That's my nickname," he said as if her were upset about that. "What happened to me being the twerp?" he grinned at his sister.

"Y'all are twerps," she laughed. "Better?"

Delilah was sitting on a bench in the DE hallway, looking down at two twiddling fingers. She hadn't been out in the battle, but heard some of the news about a distant cousin.

Jasper watched Jacey work with curiosity. Her motions made him curious. But then he noticed Sophia's breathing, and began to keep a closer eye on her. When the foreign person was brought to mind, he looked up and asked, "What does a Sniffer do?"
