Jasper listened to the thoughts, and watched them. She was punished for talking to him? And he thought his parents were harsh! He was silent for a brief moment, taking in the information. His attention quickly returned to the present when he realized part of his head was starting to dip under the water, and he began to tread water again with his head above the surface. Jazz turned to Sophie. "Sorry about...?" he prompted in query.

"Sorry about making you jump into the water," Sophie replied, rubbing her eyes. "But thanks for pulling me back out." She smiled at him in a weak way. She didn't look as tired as she did the day he offered to put her to sleep, she actually looked healthier.

[I'm gonna go; My aunt's laptop is in her room, and she looks kinda tired, so i'm gonna let her sleep. I'll be back tomorrow, hasta la bye bye!]

Kelsey was a little surprised to hear the old-fashioned phrasing, but it still pleased her in a way as she continued to smile. "Kelsey Rhodes," she replied. "And you, Sir?"

Robert blushed slightly as he realized what he'd just said, but it was only a tiny tinge of pink against his rather pale skin. "Robert Heikner," he said sort of quietly. "Nice to meet you Kelsey."

Kelsey nodded. "Nice to meet you as well, Robert," she said, her casual tone still a little softer than his even with the quieting. In the corner of her eye, she noticed some of the name of the mysterious song lingered in the open, inviting her to turn back to the musical keys and play to ease the growing curiosity. However, Kelsey didn't want to buy in, so she brushed 'Ordinary Day' to the side, covering up the rest of its lettering.

Robert watched her cover the music, and a thought entered his mind quite suddenly. "What was that song you were playing just a moment ago?"

She transferred the piece of music into her hands, eyes avoiding the black one lurking behind it the best she could. "It's called 'Ordinary Day,'" Kelsey replied, flipping to the information on the inside cover. "A Vanessa Carlton song." The name sent a new, more popular tune to her mind; this happened often, having her head sometimes become a radio station of most any genre, but the music was typically faded in the background as it was this time.

"Well, it's rather pretty. I enjoyed listening to you play," Robert put a hand on the top of the piano. "How long have you been playing piano for?"

A little bit of color came to Kelsey's cheeks, adding just the slightest bit of pink color to their skin tone. His question took a moment to answer, a much shorter time than it took for the color to return normal. "Oh, a long time," she started. "The lessons started at least ten years ago..." Her eyes dropped to the paper on her lap for a minute.

Robert nodded, noting the number carefully. It wouldn't be likely to leave his head anytime soon, for he had an excellent ability to remember numbers of book pages and dates and places in history.
