Griffen stood. "Igon! Leave us alone!" he said in a bravado.
Igon turned to Griffen. "I don't think so!" He laughed and hit Griffen on the side of the face with the blunt of his sword.
Griffen crumpled to the ground.
Igon raised his sword to strike. He laughed cruelly. "Say goodbye to life boy!"
Griffen's eyes widened. The sword glinted, flshing lights on his bruised face.
Igon was about to drop the sword when a rock nailed him hard in the back of the head. "Leave him alone Igon!" shouted a voice.

Anna sat up in a tower she'd found. Her arms pulled her legs close to her chest as she gazed out of the window at the mountains. A grey head looked out beside her and she sighed, "One of these days, Lava. We'll figure out how to escape and you and I can be as free as the breaking dawn." A daunting thought filled her mind; what about everyone else... Lizzie's friends? But... Lizzie was dead and her realtionships were too...

"But you, mistress, have returned their friendship. You're keeping them safe as if you were Lizzie. Wouldn't that be using them to a degree?" they stoney-eyed dragon asked her mistress with a sort of heavy voice.

"Such is the way of a Slayer," she nearly hissed the words as she clutched at her arm. Under the snow white sleeves was a pealy white scar of a skull with dragon bones surrounding it. She'd been branded like an ordinary cow... Anna let out a laugh, "You German Cow..." she whispered fondly thinking about her twin and best friend and probanly in a tree writing would be her oldest sister Katherine. Lizzie or not she did miss her family and with family came Logan... A weight filled her heart and she felt a tear slide down her cheek; but he was dead. She felt another tear slide down her cheek as she thought about her other crush Tim. The sorrow when she said she was dead... "Augh!" she groaned loudly, why was her life so difficult?!
