Jade looked up and smiled. "Hello, you must be Derrick. Leon has told me all about his family."

Michael knocked the spatula away--with the price of half of his banana though. He looked at his snack stub for a second then shrugged. He popped the last piece in his mouth. He grinned and grabbed a wooden spoon. "I'm ready!"

A girl stood in the middle of a classroom, she looked very much like Alessa, except her hair was well-kept, and she looked well.... alive. She was surrounded by her classmates, they were all pointing at her and yelling, 'Burn the witch!'.
Their parents told them that Alessa was bad, she didn't have a father like they did.
The girl ran into the bathroom stalls and began to cry to herself.
Alessa was alone in the world, you know what can happen to little girls when their alone?
