((Okay, we're not allowed to let this die, and I know there's still a good nine days before this closes, but I wants to RP, even if it's with myself. So...))
I smiled. "Sure." I just hatched and I've got a nickname. Awesome.
I frowned. "Why aren't you happy, Venus?"
"Because I never got wings," I explained. "I won't ever fly. You can at least learn."
I flinched at the pain in my shoulders again. "I don't have to use my wings. Maybe I won't fly."
I shook my head. "Icy, do me a favor and use them. They're a gift. You were meant to fly, so please, do it for me."
I smiled. "Okay, Venus!"
"Hmmph." I flew off twoards the forest where I usually found my prey back in hatchling-hood. I found a buck, and swiftly made my meal. It tasted fine, but wasn't very filling...
I glared. Echoes wasn't happy, I could tell. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Just peachy," I mumbled. "Only hungry. Dunno what to eat..."
