I wandered through the forest, continuing to myself confused clucks about no-feathers and leaves and most of all, the new land with strange eggs.

I heard a sound, strangely unlike any other I had heard. Following it, I found none other than the hard-to-find chicken. I restrict myself from dragon blood, I thought, but who said I can't have chicken? Thoughtlessly, I pounced in a cat-like fashion.

I followed Echoes and saw her on top of a chicken. "Well, that's an unlikely sight," I commented.

Huh? The... thing, is the best way for me to put it, sounded weird. He himself was made of parchment. His voice sounded like shredding paper, and had a thick, undefinable accent. I'd heard it before, I thought, but where? I remembered back when I was with the no-feathers, they would research with these lizard things of strange colors, often with wings. Dragons, they called them. Then it hit me. The eggs I saw! They were those of a dragon! The paper serpent, this thing at my neck! Dragons! "Are you dragons?" I asked. "Your draconian accent is funny."

I laughed. "Of course we're dragons! And I must say, you've got a strange one too."

I thought I saw a smile curl up on the other dragon's mouth when I spoke. "I don't have a- oh, wait," I remembered that chickens did have an accent, but we can't tell, since we're used to it. I laughed, too. "I suppose I do," I clucked.

I nodded. "Echoes, get off her."

Fine, I motioned, moving my body off of the scrawny bird's.

"So what are your names anyways?" I asked. I was ready to hear something strange from the draconian language, but heard nothing out of the ordinary.

"I'm Folded, and my friend is Echoes. She's a vampire dragon. You?"

"So that explains why she attacked me! Anyways, I'm Sophie."

Sunny amiled as she herd footsteps.Maybe another dragon oh no..maybe just a rabbit...... she pounced at what was comming,althought under her...was another dragon....."OH MY!I am SO SO sorry!Are you okay?"Several short minutes later....she giggled....and giggled....until she made at her laugh to death!

I laughed and looked up at the dragon who had just pounced on me. She was a seasonal! It had been so long since I had seen my other seasonal friends.

"Hey,' I said, trying to sound casual, but I kept giggling like a crazy person, "I'm Autumn."

Sunny giigled too."I'm Sunny!I can see what kind you are,but you can see what kind I am too!"she saidas she giiglgled with Autumn."It's been a while since I've seen a diffrent seasonal dragon,'other' then Jolly.....She's my sister....She's a Christmas dragon.Oh yeah,there's also a friend of hers named Icefire,she's a seasonal too.....she's a winter dragon!""Follow me!"she said as she flew towards her sister and her sister's best friend."JOLLY!ICEFIRE!I found another seasonal!Her name is Autumn!"

Jolly,still layed on the ground,silent.

"Hold on,Icefire......you've been trying...Haven't you?I know how to help her......."Sunny flew next to Jolly,she layed Half-dead next to her.

Jolly spun up and screamed as she ran around stupidly."MAN DOWN!MAN DOWN!!!!"

Sunny rised from the ground back to her feet,"Easy as eating a pie!"she said Happily,"and it's dragon-down Jolly,Not man down,were not those filty humans."

I tilted my head. "Have we met? I don't remember... but thank you." I nodded. "Terrible humans," I muttered bitterly in agreement, but only to myself. "Nice to see you're awake, Jolly," I commented, noticeably brighter.

"Hey, I'm Autumn. Are you okay?" I asked. Jolly didn't look very good... I was too excited to notice much though. Another seasonal was here! Maybe there were more dragons somewhere!

Alleei opened her eyes to find herself inside the cave, once again... like every day. She lifted up her small, silver head and looked around. It seemed as if everyone was socailizing. She let a loud yawn errupt from her skinny throat as she put her legs in front of her and she stood up. She looks at the ground, thinking, hoping that she would finally make a good friend this afternoon.

Jolly exchanged a glance at Autumn."Im fine."she hissed."I can read minds,even the deapest of thoughts can be read,and no-I will not teach you how."she said as she turned her back on her.She glanced back at Icefire."Look,Icefire.Im glad your happy thst I'm up,but I have buisness to finish off."With DeadSoul she told herself deeply into her mind.

Sunny was worried for her own sister.What if it was about DeadSoul?

"Sunny,I don't want to hear thta again from your mind."

Whoops........

"Yeah,you BETTER think that."

DeadSoul walked towards the entrance of a dark cave.She thought of her parents.,andthe stories they used to tell her,'Your ancestors live above the land,the sea,the earth,they were once heroes to our world,and one day,if you are brave,you might join them.'She thought of the rumor she overheard her dad say once to ancestor above.'I will miss you dearly and forever,Typhon,you were once mine,now It's ALL gone,this child could have been yours too.'She shredded into tears from that last.

"Nice ta meet ya, Autumn," I nodded curtly, then scowled at the thought of never keeping anything to myself anymore. Then I remembered one thing my mom, the pretty spring dragon, told me once.
"Heart-speak," That's what she called it. The only thoughts that can't be read... ever... I pondered. Mother often spoke of heart-speak, but never explained how it works or how you did it. I'd have to teach myself.
"Really?" I thought out loud, but she was already gone.
