As he was running after her, Clay tripped on a rock and hit his head. "Oh, gosh..." he moaned. He had a small cut onthe side of his head.

Now that, was something Emera could not ignore. "Clay! Are you alright?" she asked running up to him, kneeling beside him, examining the cut on his head. Head wounds were always the worse, they bled the most.

"I think so..." he said, trying to raise up off the ground. He flopped back down. "Better stay down for a minute... Blood always makes me woozy..." A small amount of blood trickled out of the deepest part of the cut. He fished around in his pocket for a napkin he had barely used at breakfast, and put that to the wound. "Don't... worry. I'll be okay in a minute."

Clay pressed harder with the napkin. It didn't hurt as much, but he had a headache. "It doesn't hurt anymore," he said, leaning up and propping against a tree. "I kinda have a headache. Never should've eaten those berries," he noted.
