Jace laughed happily.

Bitxi looked at Anne and squeaked, mouse-laughing. ((lol))

"What?! Am I funny?! Cool!" Anne giggled, the laughter sounding like deformed chirps.
"That sounds really freaky..." Claire smirked and held out her finger to the little bird.

Jace nodded and laughed even more.

Bitxi squeaked even more at the bird's laughter, and fell out of Jace's pocket. He crouched to the ground and caught her in his hand just before she hit the ground.

He laughed some more. "That was close. You're welcome by the way, Bitxi" he said , smiling.

Anne pecked Claire's finger.
"Ow..." she said, shaking her finger. "See what you do to people, and animals, Anne? You make them fall over. Shame on you." Claire scolded.

Jace chuckled, and pulled a penny from his pocket. He closed his eyes, and flicked it into the fountain. He opened his eyes and smiled. "You have to make a wish at a fountain!" he said, grinning.

Claire giggled. "Nice Jace," she said. "Got no change though."

Jace smiled and pulled another shining penny from his pocket, and flicked it to her. "Make a wish". he said, sitting down on the ground.

Claire caught it, two hands cupped together. She closed her eyes wishing then tossed the coin towards the water. She saw she hadn't tossed it fr enough, so she drew the water from the fountain to catch the penny mid-air and brought it back.

Jace laughed at the sight of the water catching the penny. "So, what'd you wish for?"

"If I tell you, then it won't come true," she said.
