She got separated from her parents when they were in South America on a vacation (Rosalie was 8 at the time), and Rosalie went to go look in the rainforest. She got found, but her parents died from a car crash soon after. She has a special leaf shaped charm on a necklace that is the same color as her eyes. It used to be her mother's, and it is the only thing she has left of her mother except for her memories.

"Oh...Sorry..." I (want to switch to first person) said softly. "Oh, er...Well...Alright..." I exhaled deeply and stepped back a bit, raising my arms. This was just for show, of course (I'm a show off and proud!). Vines sprouted from the ground and curled up around my legs, up, up past my mid section, and to my arms. When they were done coiling around my fingertips, red roses edged in black with thorns in the center sprouted from different spots along the vine. I smiled encouragingly at them, and soon I was a human rosebush. "Okay, not the best example of my "talent", but..." Then it all disappeared and I was left standing there, a single rose in my hand. With a moment of hesitation, I held it out to him.

"Wow" he said then smiled, stepping back and taking the rose being there to advantage. He took his hand and pointed his finger at the rose (of course he could have done this without that) and the wind started to pick up. Suddenly, the rose was picked up out of her hand by the wind and everywere his finger pointed the rose dances along with the wind, finally landing in his palm. The wind died down at he closed his finger lightly on the rose.
