DAWNCLAN: IN THE BEGINNING

[the books can no longer be found, but they remain in memory. We honor you, DawnClan.]

{Twelve moons have passed since that time, and the Clan has been destroyed by a great flood of the forests. Only four of the original cats remain; Rosestar, Firesight, Windtail and Nightflame. Bound together by sheer need, the four have finally recovered their old home of DawnClan.
Firesight, having lost her friend Silverleaf, discovers a young black-and-white cat living near their territory with a remarkable knowledge of herbs. Formerly known as Cass, the young cat earned the name of Ember and took the place as DawnClan’s medicine cat – for the time. They, along with the new-found Sandyleaf, now look for new cats to help rebuild their Clan.}

I am Ember, DawnClan’s temporary medicine cat. DawnClan has changed since we began, and a once-proud Clan is now no more than dust.
I have spoken to StarClan... they have told me of new warriors to come in the light of our destruction.

AS IT SAYS CLEARLY IN THE FORM, try to not have every single character have a sob story. They're boring. -_-

PLEASE, create an actual description for your character, instead of using an image.

THE NAMES MUST BE A REAL WARRIOR NAME.
(i.e pertaining to nature; black, red, white, ember, fox, tree as the prefix with tail, pelt, nose, muzzle, stripe, spot, leaf, ect.)

AS FOR MATES AND KITS,
A she-cat and a tom most have KNOWN each other for ten days before they can become mates.
Furthermore, a she-cat must wait another week if she wishes to have kits before she may announce that she is with kit.
Kits may be played as full characters an additional five days after the she-cat has announced that she is with kit.

Kits become apprentices at six moons, or after two weeks.
They will become warriors when Firesight/Rosestar deems they are ready.

PROPHECIES
must be approved. Not every can can have a prophecy, no matter if they're one of the original DawnClan cats or not.

the role-play news

Two sunrises ago, Firesight traveled to Mothermouth to take her name and nine lives from StarClan. She has yet to return... has something gone wrong with the ceremony? And is Rosestar really dead... or just overthrown?

The kits are growing restless; Ember must soon make a choice, but if it'll have any impact on how the Clan will see each other is still to be determined.

Keep your eyes open and your ears perked - there are definite scents of loners lurking at the borders. They may just be in a position to threaten DawnClan.

In other news, things start to become more intense. Is Firesight to go insane with her lust for power?
And who are these strange new cats being scented on the edge of the territory - those that do not seem to be warriors, but may yet become part of the Clan?

As a last note, there are still several inactive cats here on DawnClan! Please, if you wish to have your characters deleted, let me know - otherwise they will be moved to the 'SPOILER' tag below.

8.25.09: More cats yet! Firesight seems to have an odd discontent with her sister, the current Clan Leader, Rosestar. Will her thirst for power disrupt the entire leadership of the Clan?
I'm going through the Clan list, and several of our members I have not seen post in a little while, and labled as {Inactive}. If your inactive character is deleted off of the list (I'll give it another week), you can always request for them to be added again unless you decide to leave DawnClan. Thank you.

8.18.09: DawnClan is flourishing! The new Medicine Cat has yet to be chosen, although Ember has her eyes on a cat or two... please, let her know if you would be interested!

NAME;; Midnightbreeze

GENDER;; She-cat

PERSONALITY;; Midnightbreeze is more of the solitary type of cat. She doesn’t talk much, so it will be quite a feat if you can manage to open her up. She tries not to be an irritable female, but it can be hard for her to hold her temper.

DESCRIPTION;; Midnightbreeze has a smaller, slim build to her, but she is nowhere near being perfect. Long, raven black fur covers exactly half of her body and most of the scars on her pelt, but some can’t help but be noticed; especially a rather ragged, pink one that slashes diagonally across her narrow muzzle. The other side of the she-cat is an off-white, kind of sandyish color; her battle marks are more visible here. One of her tall pointed ears is ripped in two, due to a long ago battle. Her eyes are a piercing yellow, which flash to a darker gold when Midnightbreeze is enraged. Her paws are small and her tail long. Although you can barely see it, she wears a thick black band on her left front for-paw.

RANK;; She is fine at where she stands, though in the future she may try for a higher position.

HISTORY;; Midnightbreeze formerly lead the life of a rogue, living off what she could find in the forest, or steal from other groups of cats. She was a trickster, using her cunningness to get her ways. At once in her life she did attempt to join another clan, the name of which she had forgotten. Though over the short moon she had stayed there, the young she-cat felt some sensation drawing her back to the forest. So she left. A few moons later is now where she stands, ready to try again in Dawnclan. She not certain for sure what her destiny there will be.

PERSONALITY____;; (no cat is perfect.) Jadefang is a fun, adventurous (sp?) young tom. He a can be rude, but usualy isnt. If he meets a she-cat, they will either fight all the time, become awesome friends, or mabey become mates if she's the one

A pure black she-cat with sparkling blood red eyes. Her claws are black, with blood red tips, wich come from the true blood of prey, and some cats she killed in her past, the blood has dried off, making it a permanent change now. Fur covers her right side eye, and accross that eye, under that bundle of fur, lies a long, deep scar. On her hind right side leg,she has a very deep wound, that partly shows her bone. Her paws are all very scarred. She has sort of thick blood red stripes on each of her paws, and as well as her tail.
