But, also, you can have real names that are just odd, too. Sometimes I search on goggle, for 'Names', or 'Baby names'. Baby name sites are helpful, actually, when naming a character. xD Kinda odd, I know, but you can find the meaning of a name--maybe if your character's noble, you can name him Oberon, because Oberon means 'noble (bear, I think)'. This helps me a lot--I've done it several times. | | | 10-19-2008, 05:40 PM | #22 | Av.(C) to Krizpie Gifted Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 13,653 | Re: Character 101--How to make really great characters for role-plays Lol, yep. That's why. He was one of my first charries I came up with. He got his name from his big-ish largey size. xD I was watching AP, and Growing Up Wolves was on, and the biggest pup of the litter was named Truck. That's where I got his name from. It wasn't Copywrited, and I loved it. So BAM. A Truckeh was born. =3 Lol, oh I see. Yea, I prefure to keep main charries than to not have a (C) Charrie and someone else using the name and description. | | | 10-19-2008, 05:47 PM | #23 | MAST is not Gifted Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 15,936 | Re: Character 101--How to make really great characters for role-plays Baby name sites? Shweet. Newms will have to try....
I like Truck because it's so unique. Everyone tries to give their wolf either one of those anime-ish names or something foresty....and then along comes Truck. It's so random. I love it. | | | 10-19-2008, 05:50 PM | #24 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 5,764 | Re: Character 101--How to make really great characters for role-plays Yep! I like Truck, its a very interesting name. | | | 10-19-2008, 06:03 PM | #25 | Av.(C) to Krizpie Gifted Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 13,653 | Re: Character 101--How to make really great characters for role-plays I've used baby name sites a couple of times also! I liked alot of names on there. Dog name sites work well aslo, they're a bit more doggish. -beams- Thank you! :] When you think about it, it is kinda random. xD And then there's SUV and Car too.
