hello everyone.
i apologize for not being around lately; that shall change, I hope. As you can see, we have quite the pack below. Alyister may not be able to support such a large number. So, if you'd like to stay on this page please quote this and post that you're here. That way I can delete all the other characters that aren't yours.
This will be done on 4/14/10.

Fire flashed through the fea's skin, singeing the fur completely off in some places. Pain pulsed at set intervals on the back of neck, each time getting longer and stronger. Her once bright amber eyes now burned with anger and confusion at her sudden attacker, begging whatever it was to stop immediately.

Finally, it seemed her wish was granted. The pain lingered in some places, but all together numbing out in others. The pressure on her neck had dwindled, but leaving her with a strange weight to support. Carefully, she tried to move, wondering what the outcome would be of that choice.

No fire, no pain, no anything returned with the movement. The fea seemed to relax with that reassurance, but could still feel that something was different, wrong. Suddenly, sharp bullets pelted her newly-formed skin, sending a sharp sting through her. At first, the she-wolf panicked, but soon relaxed when she realized it was only the second round of rain.

A looming shape lingered before her, drawing the fea's attention with a wary expression. She took a few steps forward, afraid of what she would find. With more slowness and uncertainty, she looked down into the black pool of water. . .

Wings, an elongated neck, talons, and scales claimed her gaze first. The she-wolf gasped, amazed at how beautiful the creature was. Her pelt color had stayed the same---a plain, dark red-brown---but something had changed. Tints of scarlet gave her a more magnificent gleam, her scales reflecting bright red with the rain. Once the initial shock had faded, reality took hold.

"What have I become?"

Our plot for this chapter will be one that no role-play on WI has had before. A plague. What is a plague? A plague is a sickness that spreads, and usually is fatal. Our plague is one that gives our wolves dragon elements. Wings, talons, elongated necks, long tails, scales, etc.
H o w e v e r since we don't want our wolves to die, they will have an alternate. If the infected wolf has been a dragon-wolf hybrid for over two moons, their skin will turn black, their eyes red, and they will feel an urge to go to the Dark Ash Forest.
How do we cure our wolves? Each wolf (most will go in groups of two or four) must travel to the mountains. There, they will find a secret, unknown place where their true wolf side can emerge over the sickness. Each "place" varies among characters. It is up to you as to where, when, and how the transition takes place. I do ask, though, that the charrie(s) work to get to the mountain place.
