Shane quietly got to his paws. He cast his gaze first in the direction of the rising sun, then towards Dannai standing among the trees. With a sigh and a few muttered words he followed the she-wolf.

"What was that?" she said cheerfully prancing among the trees making all but no sound. She weaved in and out of the groves with ease. Every movement agile and flowing like a balla or a orchestras chorus.

"Nothing," he replied automatically. "Just talking to myself." He stumbled along, feeling particularly clumsy and akward compared to the agile fea.

"I do it all the time. Its nothing to worry about. Its like you are comferming what you are thinking in your head when you say it to yourself outloud." she laughed quietly and watched as rain clouds started to move into the sky in a gloomy way. She grinned even wider at this. She looked at Shane with the large grin on her face. "It will rain soon I think! I can't wait!"

Shane paused in a patch of short grass and looked at Dannai in a questioning manner. "You're actually excited...about rain? Why?" This wolf just continued to puzzle him more and more the longer he spent with her.

"Well without the rain there would be no rainbow." she smiled at him. Most did not understand her so she was used to the odd stare he gave her. She just smiled even more. He would get to know her soon enough. The sun was now hiddin well behind the clouds so they could go out in the open again. She started to flitter through the trees again as silent as the wind but entrancingly granceful.

((Um both I think. When lake gets on next I really want to make Dannai have my power. She was from the last thread so I never got the chance to give it to her.))

"But there's only a chance of seeing a rainbow after it rains," Shane argued. "It doesn't happen every time. In fact, I've never seen a rainbow. Ever. And I've seen my fair share of rainstorms." He glanced up at the sky, just to make sure the sun was indeed hidden, and padded out into the open.

Shane narrowed his eyes at Dannai. He wasn't sure whether or not he trusted her. "Well, Dannai, I know from experience that wolves don't always mean what they say. But you"ve given me no reason to distrust you," Yet, he added silently, "So I guess I'm willing to give you a chance if you're willing to give me one."

"Oh." Rain muttered to herself, shaking her head. "I'm sorry Kiro...I forgot that you were..." She sighed.
