Miles walked around the halls at school, his dark blue eyes bright. He was starting to recover more from the incident. Although Starry had made him put more bandaids on, and sit down alot. She was forceful for such a tiny creature

Riley looked up. "Well that's true... I was just embarrassed of the whole thing. I thought you had seen me crying and..." she trailed off, then looked back down and started making shapes in the dirt with her finger.

She asked with a look on her face that plainly said, "Yes, I do know." Then she sighed. Amber obviously knew she knew. "Well, um... yeah. sort of. I guess. I mean I got this weird feeling that you had a secret, like a voice telling me you had a secret, and when I saw the mermaid picture, the voice was screaming THAT'S THE SECRET. So... yeah." She blushed and looked down. Now that she thought about it, the "voice" did seem to be more than just instinct. And it sounded like Amber's voice, now that she thought about and talked about it out loud. Could it be??? that's what her dad said mind-reading was like for beginners...

(I this idea last time we started them two, but we never really got farther than this. lol! And I forgotted to reply the other posty. lol)

Miles turned a corner, his eyes flickering around. They landed on Marie, and he smiled slightly. He made his way over to her; he hadnt seen her in a while. "Hi Marie."
