“Ira, this may be the most important thing to happen to the Resistance yet!” Jillian, new Alpha of the Resistance, leaned forward excitedly in her chair. “They think…” She lowered her voice to a whisper. “They think they‘ve found a time machine.”
Ira gasped, but she didn‘t see how this would affect their efforts.
“We could control time! If we manage to somehow get our hands on the machine, to make it work- we could make sure none of this ever happened!” Jillian flipped her braid over her shoulder, twisting it in her fingers as she did when she was thinking. “They Government won‘t come into power! We could save the trees, the water- Imagine! Swimming in the ocean!” She laughed softly.
“We could save lives.”
Ira nodded, transfixed. “But…”
“We need the missing piece.”

　
Welcome to The Empire.
This RP takes place in a futuristic world. Almost 500 years ahead of our time, to be exact. There are things like hover cars, transport beams ( only the very rich can afford to be carried by one ), and super robots, which now to any rural labor like farming. But there are downsides to living in this world. You can consider yourself lucky if you see an animal other then a cat, there are no more forests, all the natural waters are polluted, and not to mention there are no more countries, only one Empire, where the rich rule and leave everyone else to survive on their own. You have no freedom.

Who you can play;

The Government;
The top of the food chain, the rich. They rule, and plan on doing so for a long time.

　
The Commoners;
Who go about their lives, enjoying the benefits of this new world, and ignoring the bad parts.

The Hippies;
Who are back in full swing, ignore everything modern, and deny and form of government.

　
The Resistance;
People who resent the government, the Empire, and anyone rich. They disguise themselves as commoners or hippies even sometimes government, but spread illegal information, most of it the truth. Some go so far as to use violence, but those are always caught by the ultra powerful Government.

The World;

Most of the Empire is in what once was America,
The Capitol is now in New York, where all action must take place,
No one remembers or even knows about life with individual governments and voting, save a few choice members of the Government, and, of course, the Resistance.
There are many, many new inventions, but old things, like cars, phones, soccer balls…and freedom, are virtually non existent. Instead people travel in hover cars or jets, talk with telecommunication, which can easily be installed by a physiatrist, kids play with robots, and most are content to let themselves be ruled.

The Plot;

New Betas are being chosen for The Resistance.
The Government is requiting.
And pieces of a time machine has been found.
The Resistance is slowly sending in spies, trying to locate the missing piece.
The Government has a new secret weapon.
A deadly one, by the name of Jade Ranishpa.
And the Commoners are stirring.
