Elementz is a [newly] Semi-Elite Roleplay based on six types of creatures: Royals, Elves, Fairies, Peasants, Monsters and Dragons; each individual creature holds the power of one element: Fire, Water, Wind, Ice and Earth. Every element that a character possesses gives that character two different powers. They are:

Fire elements can be in fire without being affected, and can breathe fire out of their mouths.

Water elements can breath underwater, and can conjure water from anywhere.

Earth elements can change the weather conditions, and can teleport over short distances- short distances only.

Wind elements can fly, and can blow people away using the power of wind.

Light elements can conjure light from anywhere and can turn invisible.

Ice elements can freeze anything they like, but only for a few hours; And if there is ice, but only if there is ice, ice elements can slide very fast.

All of these creatures live in the land of Elementia. There is a King or a Queen of every creature group. I am aware that it was stated in the first book that leadership of Elementia would change in three books- this is no longer true. I will stay in leadership for however long I see fit. There will be leadership opportunities, though. You may read more of this later on the thread.

In Elementia, major romance is not tolerated. Simple crushes are allowed for Royals, Elves, Fairies, and Peasants. Monsters and Dragons may find mates but you must keep interaction to a PG level.

Rules:

1. Follow all of Webkinz Insider's Roleplay and regular rules.

2. No arguments or hard feelings - this is meant to be fun, no need to get angry.

3. Please keep all roleplaying PG (meaning no more romance than crushes, and no graphic and gory violence)

4. No Power-playing. Power-Playing is when you control someone elses character. This is often accidental, but watch out for it.

5. No God-modding. This is when your character is invincible, and they cannot be beaten. Every character has some flaws, no matter who they are.

6. No using red or blue colors, they are reserved for Webkinz Insider's moderators and administrators.

7. I ask that if you join, you make the commitment to be active on this thread. I expect you to follow through.

8. Please remember: Although dragons and fairies can have wings, their element has to be wind for them to fly. Otherwise, they can float a bit, but nothing much.

9. No one-line roleplay posts. Every post must at least reach the second line. No exceptions.

9. I trust that you have read the rules, and do not feel a need to give a secret phrase. I am trusting you guys, don't let me down.

10. All characters must be approved by me before you may roleplay with them. Do not take it personally if I ask you to add more detail to them, it's very important that the characters you make tell a story.

11. And, the last rule is my personal favorite. It's simple, yet quite brilliant. It's dull, yet very smart, yes, very much so. Have fun.

H I S T O R Y A N D P L O T

Once upon a time, in a beautiful land called Elementia, everything ran smoothly. All of the creatures in the land were at peace. Or so the leaders thought. There were two creatures, Zafaria and Lost Soul, who felt that Elementz was a horrible place. The two of them came together to cause horrible destruction and rioting. They created a massive wave that crashed down on the marketplace, destructing all of the stands and killing mostly anyone who was at the marketplace at the time. They then froze the wave, concealing everything under it. The leaders had a quick meeting, deciding what would need to be done in Elementia. You can see that meeting in the first book. The synopsis of that meeting is that King Brennan will take care of physical repair, and Queen Elisa will take care of mental repair. Many people in Elementia have begun to believe what the criminals said- that they are living in a land of evil. Elisa and Brennan are going to need volunteers and helpers to begin rebuilding Elementia to the beauty and power it once was.

L E A D E R S H I P O P P U R T U N I T I E S

Elisa and Brennan are going to need helpers, and fast. Out of the volunteers that come forward for both committees: Brennan's and Elisa's, three are going to be chosen from each committee to be "Second-In-Commands," also called, "Seconds." The Seconds will help the leader of whichever committee they belong to with organizing, rebuilding, and anything else the leaders would like. Although becoming a Second may seem like not a big deal, it helps a character get to know the leader, and become noticed in the society of Elementia. This may be helpful later on.

Meet the Leaders:

Royalty Queen (Pokadottie):

Name:  Elisa Gertie Roy (Known as Queen Elisa)

Age:  You may guess late forties, early fifties.

Creature Type: Royal

Element: Light
Looks: Queen Elisa has long wavy auburn hair, but it is often piled up in a bun with a crown perching on it daintily. She has bright earthy-green eyes, and her lips are quite often pursed with either disgust or agreement.
Personality: Queen Elisa is very dainty, like a queen should be. She is also very stubborn, and will do whatever it takes to be right. Watch out if she doesn't get her way.
History: Elisa had a normal childhood, despite not having many friends. Even as a young girl, Elisa was very bossy and wouldn't listen to anyone. When she grew and became the queen of the royals of Elementia, she never had any children. Elisa never married, either.

Elf King (Pokadottie):

Name: Oscar Chilliy (King Oscar) 

Age: Unknown - All adult elves basically look the same, and no one really knows. 
Creature Type: Elf

Element: Water
Looks: King Oscar is short, the trademark elf feature. He has a long twisting grey beard, which he often braids when bored. He wears an old Irish crown on top of his head, which may not have any more hair in a few years. Oscar has twinkly brown eyes, that make you feel like you can trust.
Personality: Oscar is very grandfather-like. He thinks he is wise, but often gives incorrect information, so watch out. He thinks of every single elf as a family member, and loves them all. Although he does care about all of Elementia, the elves come first in his eyes.

Fairy Queen (Pokadottie):

Name: Lorainne Cerise (Queen Lorainne) 

Age:  26
Creature Type: Fairy

Element: Wind
Looks: Queen Lorainne has short, very curly dark brown hair. She has a young face, and is often mistaken for a child. She detests this assumption, and will fly into a fit if someone thinks she is younger than she is.
Personality: Lorainne is very quirky and up-beat. She loves to have fun, but she won't stand for any misbehaving. Lorainne can hold a grudge for a very long time, so be careful what you say around her.

Monster King (Pokadottie):

Name:  Edwin Vergil (King Edwin)

Age:  Old.
Creature Type: Monster

Element: Fire
Looks:  Edwin is huge. He is about nine feet tall, and basically looks like a big mound of dirt, mud, stone, iron, and who-knows-what, with a crown on his head. You can make out facial features, arms, and legs, but other than that, you have no idea.
Personality: Edwin is always grumpy and wants power more than anything in the whole kingdom. Also, surprisingly, has a soft spot for hard workers. If you work hard, you might have a better chance of not getting squashed...

Dragon Queen (Pokadottie):

Name: Abigayle Kear (Queen Abigayle) 

Age: 58
Creature Type: Dragon

Element: Earth
Looks: Abigayle is very big and has gorgeous dark red, purple, and green scales that mix to create a muddy brown look from afar. Close up she is beautiful. Abigayle has blue eyes with green flecks in them.
Personality: Abigayle is very loving and caring. Even so, she has very strong emotions. Instead of happy, Abigayle is elated. Instead of sad she is clinically depressed. Instead of angry, Abigayle is menacing and threatening.

Name: Brennan Folami (King Brennan) 

Age:  30

Creature Type: Peasant
Element: Ice

Looks: King Brennan has extremely tanned skin and big-but-not-too-big muscles. He has a floppy mess of chesnut hair and freckles across his face. He still looks like a kid, just grown-up. Even though he is a king, and rich for a peasant (which isn't very rich anyways), he still dresses simply. Brennan chooses t-shirts in earthy tones and jeans most of the time, though he has a suit hiding in his closet that he pulls out for special occasions.
Personality: King Brennan is very humble, and doesn't act like a King around other Peasants. He only acts like a King when amongst the other leaders, or when it is brought up. Brennan has a terrible tendency to tell secrets, though- his own and others.

Setting and Season:

Elementia is a Magical Kingdom. Imagine a large map, with a compass rose in the center. That compass rose is the castle. The Royalty, Fairy, Elf, Peasant, and Dragon leaders live there, along with servants, cooks, and two certain dragons that may not be allowed to be there...

To the North: To the North of the castle is the Palace, where the Princes and Princesses live. The palace is very lush... Use your imagination. Also to the North is the Street Market, which is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Anyone can sell anything at the Street Market, if you have any questions about what you can sell, let me know.

To the South: To the South of the castle is the courtyard. The courtyard is a large stone patio with tables, chairs, and a big water fountain in the middle. Near the courtyard is a huge forest, where anything can happen. This forest is not evil, though, mind you, this forest is often quite bright and happy.

To the East: To the East of the castle is the Monster's realm. The Monster's realm is nowhere near the rest of Elementia, though. It is at least two-days travel away. The Monster's realm is very dark, and nothing good ever happens there. There is a large onyx castle where the Monster King lives, along with servants and workers. Inside the Monster's castle is not much furniture. Any furniture is dark unfinished wood, or steel bars. Imagine dark wood twisted around an iron bar- that's what all of the furniture looks like.

To the West: To the West of the castle is the river! The river is very long and snakes all along the West side of Elementia. It is called simply, "West River," named by some tired explorer. xD Also, quite importantly, to the West is the Village. The Village is full of all kinds of houses. Anyone can live in the Village, and most RP characters do live here.

Season:

It is spring! The weather is just starting to get warmer, and promises of summer are on the way. Young animals totter around, feeling the rush of first steps. Flowers poke their buds out into the sun for our viewing pleasure. It's a beautiful time of year, only ruined a few times with the occasional showers.

There will be a PRC (Physical Repair Committee) Meeting on Saturday, January 16th. I am not going to give a specific time because I am not sure when I'll be available. We will do the meeting in On-and-Off sort of fashion. So, someone may respond and then have to go for an hour or two, but when they get back, people will have responded. The meeting could be stretched out over a couple of days. Please let me know if you have any comments, questions, or concerns. Thank you!

The PRC meeting was very successful! Most members of the committee contributed several good ideas to the list of tasks and the general conversation. The committee has now split into two groups and is working on collecting money from the more fortunate Elementians to cover the cost of repairing the Marketplace.

Wow, I haven't written an announcement in a while! Elementz is going well, we have lots of new members and the thread is finally more active than it has been in a while. We are on page 92, which means that post #1000 is coming up, good luck to whoever wants to get that! Also, Elementz Book 3 will be out soon, with an all-new plot (The committees didn't seem to be working...) and let's just say that the monsters are restless. I will also be re-doing my leader's forms, since I don't think my descriptions measure up to the characters. All of you that are active, keep being active and I thank you so much for your dedication! Those of you who aren't, please try to post a little more. Thanks so much, guys, and keep up the good work!

Side Note: Do you guys think I should start posting announcements like this every week or so, just saying what's going on? Let me know what you think on the thread or via my profile.
