Raylana slowly opened her eyes, waking up in the early morning, after finally getting to sleep. She groaned as she stood up, and stretched out much like a cat, arching her back and digging her sharp white claws into the rocky mountain. Lizzy yawned and stretched out. She laid her head back down with a sigh of contentment. She looked over at her brother who was looking at her sleepily, but still smiling. "Were you smiling all night?" She looked at him jokingly. "Probably." He said. His wing had been over her all night. He finally folded it up against his side and stretched. Lizzy stood up. "Come on. I wanna show you around." She smiled at her brother. "aww, right now?" Skylight said sarcastically. "Yes right now." Skylight smiled and stood up. They walked out of Lizzy's den, or I should say it was their den now. Lizzy crouched down, like a young cat ready to pounce at a ball of string. She launched herself into the and looked over her shoulder to see her brother do the same. She had always loved flying, the only thing that was ever wrong with it was that her brother hadn't been with her. "I'm hungry." Skylight said. Lizzy instantly dropped and came up a few seconds later with an elk. "Here you go." she said as she handed it to him. Skylight took the elk in his mouth and threw it up into the air. In one gulp, that elk was gone. Skylight looked past Lizzy. "Oh, there's another dragon." Lizzy looked over her shoulder and smiled. "That's Raylana. Come on." Lizzy flew over to her friend. "Raylana! Hi! You'll never guess what happened to me last night!" Lizzy wanted to tell somebody he great news. Raylana would be the best to tell since she was the only other dragon who knew about her brother and the chain. | | | |
