Rex awoke and got out of the burrow in a slump, he was angry again, like always. He passed my Saphire mumbling something under his breath, and then he went over to Axl and plopped next to him, not saying a word to him...

Fuego on the other hand was the complete opposite, she woke up and she was ready to warm up in the glowing sun, she was ready for absolutley anything. Then as she scanned the horizon, she saw him... also glowing in the sun, it was Flame, her friend, she was hoping to impress him somehow, she wanted to be a dominant female, and badly, but for different reasons... not really for Flame, but for power... she was willng to do anything it takes, she walked up to him and said "hey, did you sleep well..."

"I need to tell you something... a long time ago, when i was a pup, i was in a group, you werent there at the time, and mom was our leader, when i was only a pup, i was really sick, and so the group just let me for dead, i was so scared and sad, and i remember that i had exactly 136 encounters that almost made me die, then when i found my way back home again, mother was dead, and so was the rest of the group, except you and Saphire, and ive been thinking, ive been left to live for a purpose, right? not just to sit around and slouch around, so im really sorry for everything, its just that was a very depressing experience in my life, and it left me scarred, but im going to try and put that behind all of us..." and for the first time in years, he smiled a huge grin..
