And hope you loosen up before then, I know what that feels like. I was doing my second show with stiff muscles, not to mention the torn tendons...ouch.

WoW Kala if you feel you did great, then you DID! Whooooooo!!!! Anyone else's recitals coming up? Mine is on June 27th (my b-day).

Quick question. Do you guys do two recitals, on seperate days? Cause at our studio we have both recital shows on 1 day. 2:30 show and 5:00 show.

Thanks guys!! I think tomorrow I'll be "un-stiff" I just gotta strech a little bit tonight.

We accually do 4 recitles. One on wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday. Everyone gets to dance at least 2 nights. But because I'm only doing 1 dance this year, I only get to dance on 2 nights. but next year I'm doing 4, so I'll be on all the nights!!!

Well, at my studio, we do one show on Friday, and one show on Saturday, so yeah, seperate days.

And yup, torn tendons. I have tendonitis in both of my akilies tendons, and little tears all along the tendon in my knee. Because of my knee, my kicks weren't quite as good, but I managed to pull off six dances without letting out an agonizing scream, so I've got that going for me. As for my akilies tendons, ballet really help them. I have no idea why turning your feet out and bending your knees would help tendonitis, but it does.

anyway, i just went last night to a dance orientation for team. we have these super cool warmup outfits, with our name and kehls logo, but its super expensive ($ 110 for pants and a jacket!!)
anyway, i need a new leatard, does anyone know where to get a good priced one??

hey, i found some really cute leotards from balera. i really like the CL2651 and Cl2455 from dancewear. whatcha think??

KKF! Wow torn tendons? how do you manage? I have scoliosis and it is really affecting me. It hurts a lot. In a year or two i might need surgery! The doctors say scoliosis doesn't hurt, but i am in a lot of pain!
