Awesome job, Kara! I don't realise it a whole lot, but I guess I improved a lot over the past while, too. I've had my double turns under my belt for quite some time now, like, a long time, but now I can do a triple without trying, haha. Well, turns are my specialty, so, yeah. But you are very lucky to be able to get all the jumps right, those are definetely not my best thing...I guess it's time to improve my jumps...

my turns arent great.... especially spotting. i find it hard to spot on doubles. and i can't really do a very good double turn...

Good job KKF! Hey Ssey don't worry about doubles! Actually a few months ago i was struggling with them. Now there clean, no hops or wobbles. All it took was doing turns in my kitchen when ever i had the chance and a few bruises! (lol)

My recital, the last one with Artistic Dance Academy, went really good i think. My mom was really impressed. She said i should watch my dvd of last year and compare it with this years dvd of recital. My dad was really impressed too. My grandpa just kept telling me happy birthday. (he doesn't like dance much) My grandma was also really happy with me. So i guess mission accomplished. i can rest peacefully now ! (lol)

thats great for your recital!! it seems like i always look bad in my recital... but maybe thats only because the one i have now is my dads taping it.... and it at the dress rehersal.... anyway

Congrats on a great recital, Kara! I'm sure you improved a significant ammount since last year!

And Ssey, when you're doing a double turn, try to think of it as a single turn. If you throw yourself into it gently, you'll stay centered, and you won't wobble around. Don't think that you won't make it around twice, because you can. Works for me, anyway. That's also how I make it around for a triple. You come out of your prep as if you were gonna do a single, but just add a little more force, and you'll make it around. But like I say, that`s just me, different people have different preferances, but my way seems to be the easiest way...for me anyway.

thanks, that seems like it would help a lot... a tend to fall cause i'm off balanced. and i haven't even attempted triples... LOL

Ssey if you are off balanced just remember to be up and over your supporting leg. Have your arms in a circle (you know what i mean) pull up and bring your toe to your knee second you go to turn. Also spot which you said earlier was diffuclt, but try try again. I hope you get them down solid. Good luck and hopfully i helped!
