So what are Zhu Zhu Pets? If you have NEVER heard of them, never ever ever in your whole life, then leave this thread right...........now.
For those who know what Zhu Zhu Pets are, own one, love them, want one (tracking one down), or are getting one soon, then you can stay right here!
Those furry little robotic toy hamsters have been taking the world by STORM!

So, who are they exactly? Let's MEET THE ZHU-ZHU'S...
- VERSION 1 HAMSTERS
.. Chunk : That adorable little white hamster with the symbol of a sunshine on his back!
..Mr. Squiggles: Teehee, my favorite Zhu-Zhu... The light brown one with the white squiggle on his back.
..Pipsqueak: An adorable hamster, Pipsqueak has golden-yellow fur and a symbol of a shooting star on her back.
..Num-Nums: The lovable one, Num-Nums has gray fur with a white heart on her back.
- VERSION 2 HAMSTERS
.. Scoodles: The chocolate-brown Zhu Zhu that loves to GO! He has an acorn on his back. (and he's very soft... I find him softer than the others!)
..Jilly: Awwh, that peppy little girly Zhu Zhu.. she has pink and white fur with a set of cherries on her back.
..Winkie: Winkie reminds me of an oreo cookie! He has black and white fur with a footprint on his back as his symbol.
..Nugget: The cute little daydreamer ZhuZhu, Nugget is yellow-orange with a butterfly on her back.

NEW! Zhu Zhu Pets hamster babies!
The hamster babies are basically, hamster babies. xD
Just kidding! There's much more to them than that. They are made of a foamy, soft material and have adorable, big ears. <3
Also, the big question: "Do they have wheels and run on batteries, just like normal Zhu Zhus?" the answer to that is a big N-O. They have a wheel on the bottom of them, so you can push them, and they will go. They are battery free.
So, here are the Proud Parents and the babies.

Mr. Squiggles & Num Nums = ButterCheeks, BabyCakes,Muffin
Chunk & Pipsqueak = Peanut, Pumpkin, SnickleFritz
Also, there has been pictures of a Zhu Zhu Pet baby named Baxter. He is limited edition/exclusive and only comes when you buy a special version of the Zhu Zhu Pets video game for Nintendo DS. You can pre-order this special version of the soon-to-be-released game @ the Toys "R" Us website.

Zhu Zhu pets are simply Zhu-tastical!!

This is my post to teach and post things about Zhu Zhu Pets and the club.

~≈~Zhu Zhus~≈~

Zhu Zhu Pets are, as Hayley said, cute robotic furry hamsters!
They have simple technology. Each hamster is composed of three buttons.
One button on it's back where it has it's "Symbol"- This button makes it start moving and sets your ZZP into explore mode.
A button on it's cute pink plastic nose- This button makes the pet make one noise.
A button on its head- this button sets it into talk mode, where it will make a new sound every few seconds, but after about 1 minute, it will go to sleep.

There is also a "code reader" on your Zhu Zhu Pet's underside, which shows the ZZP what kind of playset it is in, and serves no function other than while using Zhu Zhu Pet playsets.

Hayley covered the types of Zhu Zhu's so we will now move on!

My story so far...

A Zhu Zhu Adventure

“Ah!” Scoodles started. “A fresh new day of exploring it is! I plan to enjoy it to its fullest!” Riiiiiiiing!, Scoodles’s Hamberry 3G sounded out. “Hello?” he answered.
“Why hi there Scoodles! Well, listen, I know I’m usually preppy and all, but this is serious. PLEASE we need you at the park quick!” Jilly’s high pitched, usually happy, voice rang out. “Get here pronto! ASA—” the line went dead. Scoodles gathered his things- his phone, a compass, and the lucky acorn that he found when he was just a kid, on his very first hiking trip. Jilly never sounded so… so… so serious! He knew this had to be an emergency. He stopped by the kitchen to get the keys, and into the car he climbed. It burst out of the garage, and he was off to the park.
As Scoodles drove he thought. The voices inside his head kept on repeating things like ‘What could have happened?’ and ‘Why the park.’ He was the most curious hamster in all of Zhuville right now.
“Ohhh! There he is girls!” NumNums cried. Scoodles got out of the car and saw NumNums, Jilly, and Nugget all gathered round the slide. Before he could get out the words “What happened?” Chunk showed up in his surfboard. Then Winkie in a red sports car. Chunk and Winkie approached Scoodles and inquired what was going on, and Scoodles told them that he knew as much as them. Frantic, NumNums came up to the three men and explained the whole situation in a dazed voice…

“It all started when us three mothers decided to take our children to the park for a playdate. They had never met before, so we thought it would be fun. Fun was the last thing on our minds by the end of it. You see, what happened is they were all getting along fairly well, and then they all decided to get on the slide. Jiggle, Jilly’s son, went first. He had a blast! Then my son, Nibbles, went. Everything was fine… then Nugget’s daughter Candy went… Fell off the side, and fell on TOP of Jiggle and Nibbles. All were hurt… We called the paramedics, and they are on their way…”

“Wow!” Scoodles, Chunk, and Winkie said simultaneously.

I just had my Zhu Zhu's running in the Funhouse and Winkie seemed really slow, so I changed his batteries, but he's still slow, and I noticed there's like this pretty faint weird almost burning type of smell from him.. I think maybe his motor is burning out or something.

Have you guys noticed any strange smells coming from yours? I'm worried and sad.
