Here's my silly story (it's true):
My family sat down at a 4-person table for dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant, P.F. Chang's, and a waiter followed carrying a bowl of their chinese crackers, duck sauce, and a strange yellow condiment with specks that probably made it very spicy.
We savagely ate our crackers until I got yelled at. "Julia, don't eat so many; you won't eat dinner!" After that, I sat on my hands and watched my uncle dip his cracker into the yellow food and the duck sauce. When my mom was in the bathroom, I took a few crackers.
They were spicy. Duck sauce isn't like that.
When my mom came back, she did the same as me, and I inquired, "Aren't they spicy?" She agreed, and my dad looked at us like we were crazy. "It's not spicy." I took another and then quickly drank some water.
"What's the yellow stuff?" I asked.
"Spicy musturd."
I thought about this while dinner was here and then knew the answer. "I know why it's spicy!" Maybe seafood is brainfood.
Can you guess the solution?
