I needed a title, so I searched synonyms for unique. I ended up with Sui Generis, which means in it's own class. That's going to be the title for my book.
But I still have tons more research to do! | | | 03-21-2009, 03:43 PM | #3123 | Gifted Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 5,297 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Sometimes I end up learning a lot, and I love learning, so that's good for me. | | | 03-21-2009, 03:48 PM | #3124 | Call me Merry =) Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 7,264 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) Yeah! I just found out that one of the most expensive and valuable brands of cellos are stradivarius. (SP?) The person who made them, Antonio Stradivari and his family, made them in the late 1600s to early 1700s and they only made a few cellos and violas. They made the most violins. Because of their quality, age, and quantity they are some of the most valuable and expensive stringed instruments in the world. | | | 03-21-2009, 03:51 PM | #3125 | Gifted Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 5,297 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) Woah! Those are some old instruments! I wouldn't want to touch them out of fear of breaking them. | | | 03-21-2009, 03:53 PM | #3126 | Call me Merry =) Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 7,264 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) I know! Seriously! They are REALLY expensive! Like 4.5 million dollars! I think only really famous stringed instrumentalists have them. | | | 03-21-2009, 03:59 PM | #3127 | Gifted Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 5,297 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) Probably. I don't think anyone else would want to spend that much on an instrument. | | | 03-21-2009, 04:00 PM | #3128 | Call me Merry =) Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 7,264 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) Yeah, that is what I thought. So how is your writing? | | | 03-21-2009, 04:04 PM | #3129 | Gifted Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 5,297 | Re: The Writer's Guild, a Chat for Writers (Part 3) It's coming along. I started a new story this afternoon, and I have like 400 words right now. Not a lot, but it's pretty fogood for an afternoon of writing.
