UPDATED Oct. 20, 2009 My kids and I are reading "Maximum Ride" by James Patterson right now. Awesome story, fast paced, suspenseful. Would interest boys or girls. Appropriate to be read to ages about 8 years and up. As a self-read, depending on the reading level, I'd say more for ages 10 or 12 and up just because it is a long book and some of the words might trip up younger readers. I have always read to my kids before bed and still do (though by chapters each night now), so this is the one we are reading now. Two thumbs up from us. | | | 11-10-2009, 10:37 PM | #68 | oot! Since summer is upon us I thought I would refresh the Summer Reading suggestion list
Please feel free to add your suggestions and I will update the thread.
I have a new suggestion myself.
The Author is Dean Koontz
and it is a series of fictional novels featuring a character named Odd Thomas.
1. Odd Thomas
2. Forever Odd
3. Brother Odd
4. Odd Hours
I really enjoyed the books.
Happy reading!
