I've only heard of Sting from The Police and his solo work.
Did you hear that the songwriter who wrote 'The Addams Family' theme song died today?

no i did not know about the Adam's family song writer.

there are only a few police songs i know, though one of them i will always know, and have a hard time listening to is "roxanne" ... when you hear a song every day for the whole school year, you tend not to be able to listen to it much....

**** the Torpedoes, the long-awaited third album by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, is released. A rock and roll milestone, it yields two hit singles – “Don’t Do Me Like That” (#10) and “Refugee” (#15) – and the classic-rock tracks “Here Comes My Girl” and “Even the Losers.”

True Colors (Cindy Lauper) was a hit.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average drops 508 points, losing 23% of its value.

Tom and Cindy are good, i get the place in history about the Dow, but Rock History? Am I missing something?
they put dow in there because he hit ROCK bottom, or that all the people who owned that stoped buying rock music....who knows LOL

Hmm, no, it's because Dow ROCKZ (if only tauros were part of this club! ) and then it dropped. which is sad. It's like a rock singer getting sick. That's all I can think of. But, oh well.
Oh, and JBJ added me on skype and I am like hyperventilating! I'm still in shock and gosh! It's just...wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
